Great beach and safe bathing, especially for children.
Great beach and safe bathing, especially for children. Beautiful civic gardens and plantings.
Otherwise boring.
Very few 3* plus restaurants, remaining were tourist "reas spoons" all with the same offers. Moules, steak, fish, standard French offerings.
One outstanding cafe on the edge of the market square, called Concept 18. Weekly market was excellent.
Boat trips and water related activities over priced by Spanish comparison.
Planned walks and bicycles available.
Many empty decaying properties, including hotels.

Quiet charmlng resort .
Quiet charmlng resort .
I would for sure recommend to take the boat trip to the Glénan Islands.
Limited offer of restaurants - I could recommend "Les Embruns" for fair food at a correct price.
I think e-biking is the best way to discover the surroundings.

Benodet is a very nice holiday village with beautifull beaches and costal walks. Of course You can use a "petite train" for visiting Benodet. For us it was a basic accomodation for trips to Carnac and Locmariaquer or to Concernaeu.

A lovely return to a town we first stayed in over 30 years...
A lovely return to a town we first stayed in over 30 years ago! It’s a busy place, and unsurprisingly tourist-centred, given the beautiful beach and handy location. Finding a good dinner was harder than expected, but overall, if you don’t mind the sheer volume of people, a lovely place to stay! (It’s worth walking round the point towards the area where the boat trips depart from - quieter beaches and a few more bars/restaurants to choose from.)
I loved the aesthetic of the hotel, so cool and thought through. The location was perfect for us, a short walk from the ferry to Sainte Marine and excursions on the Odet river and out to the islands and also very easy to get to beautiful beaches. The staff were incredibly helpful and very knowlegable. The breakfast was fantastic, all of the 'usuals' but with a few other extras included, we particularly liked the yogurt with raspberry coulis and lime zest. A truly excellent hotel that deserves top marks for every aspect of our stay
Very good breakfast in the proper and luxurious Grand Hotel a short walk away from ‘annexe’ - excellent service from breakfast staff.
Good swimming pool - invaluable asset for young children.
Central location in very up market holiday resort- can walk or get miniature train to the main beach.
Excellent beach club for children 15 mins walk away- 8 euros per hour if you just turn up - great value.
Huge comfortable bath
A short walk to the boat jetty for all river cruises etc.
The apartments are ideally situated behind the main beachfront shops and restaurants with gated paths that open directly onto the main street by the beach - it is genuinely only only a couple of minutes walk from any of the apartments to the beach, but far enough back to be relatively peaceful. Benodet is a peaceful and calm resort town anyway, with great restaurants, creperies, ice-cream etc. all available. The beach is really clean and the sea is calm and clear - great for swimming.
Lovely welcoming staff (everyone was friendly: the receptionists, the waitresses and the manager). Good on site restaurant and bar. Large clean and comfortable room and ensuite. Hotel had a pool and garden. On site car parking albeit limited capacity (there was ample free on street parking outside too).
There was a popular boulangerie just round the corner and a large supermarket 5 minutes walk away.
The hotel and the entire neighborhood are spotless and clean. The beaches are wonderful and beautiful. The breakfasts were superb and the owner and host Mr. Guillou couldn’t have been more accommodating and helpful. Also there are many extra touches in the rooms and attention to small details which make the stay even more enjoyable. I recommend this hotel.
Everything from the room, pool, breakfast, bed and friendliness of the staff, could not fault the premises at all. Certainly looking forward to next year when we intend to book again. The hotel compliments the location in Benodet, not rowdy, great walking routes and variety of restaurants all in a wonderful location.
The location approximately 2km from Benodet was excellent. It was very peaceful and everything was exactly what we were looking for. The appartment had everything. The lady host was lovely and was always available, even though we didn't need her. She would check on us to see if we were ok and if we needed anything.
The hotel was lovely - right next to an old church, a beach, the ferry across the river to the sister city Ste Marine. The entire town of Benodet is walkable, so easy to get around. And the staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly.
Superb newly renovated hotel, very cool vibe. Very nice rooms. Great breakfast, very helpful staff. Also v nice during the day/early evening to have drinks or just relax outside or in the communal room.
Due to our friends car breaking down, the staff were so helpful in helping to arrange a hire car.
We will be looking to return in 2024 to explore more of the area and use the hotel as a base.
