Embark on a memorable adventure to Gramvousa and the renowned Balos Bay.
Your day begins with a morning bus ride to the port of Kastelli. From there, you’ll board a boat to Gramvousa, where you can explore the historic Venetian castle, a relic from the 18th century when pirates used it as a refuge.
The journey then continues to one of Crete's most famous beaches, Balos Bay. Here, the pink-tinged sands invite you to unwind, while the crystal-clear blue and green waters offer a refreshing swim. The bay, protected by coral reefs, is perfect for a relaxing dip in its shallow waters.
Around 6 pm, you’ll return to Kastelli by boat, where the bus will be waiting to take you back to your hotel, concluding a day filled with history, stunning landscapes, and serene beach time.

Anchoring within Balos Lagoon is prohibited for boats. Our boat will anchor approximately 100 meters from the coast of Balos and remain there for about 1.5 hours for swimming. Balos is a designated NATURA site, allowing swimming in specific areas along the shoreline.
