The breakfast was delicious and rich, with hand made products. but best thing are Anne-Lise and Jeremy: two people of rare kindness. we also had dinner there one evening and it was clearly the best dinner of the whole holiday, superior to any restaurant tried, a starred restaurant dinner! Location was excellent. Debora was accessible, friendly, organized and quick to respond. Rooms were a good size and artistically decorated. They were spotless. The restaurant below the property is delicious - we ate there twice. No need to look further. Reviews are correct. Just book it.

Matatagpuan sa Madalena sa Azores region at 15 km mula sa Pico Airport, ang Vinhas do Calhau ay nagtatampok ng accommodation na may libreng WiFi, playground ng mga bata, hardin, at libreng private... The staff is wonderful. First, they helped us book a rental car after our plans fell through even though we were unable to find any available cars on the island. Also, our luggage was left behind by the airline and then delivered to the hotel after we had already left. Ana works reception at the hotel and called me to let me know so I could work with the airline to get it picked up and sent to our current island. Then Ana also called us when the bags were picked up. This was imperative because the airline made no attempt to let us know they had our bags. Ana told me the flight time from Pico to the island we were on and so we stopped by the airport and found our bags. They were separated away from the bags being delivered that day and had not been entered into the system. It took 5 days to get our bags and it would have been longer if not for Ana. We are so grateful for everyone there. Also the room was spacious with a great view.
