Location is actually in the protected natural reserve. 350 hectare park contains well designed flower park full of colibris, primary forest, water fall. We stayed in a separate building, with direct view to Arenal and the forest: at the morning, one could watch all the birds: tucans, colibris etc. You have to walk through a hanging bridge to ghe restaurant, which has a marvelous view. The hotel organises free walks on the marked forest tracks, one can see buttetfliea, frogs, birds, spider monkeys. There is a 20 m metal tower that rises above the trees. When we were in the tower, a group of monkeys passed below us. Swiming pool and jacuzzi is right in the forest. Restaurant is fine. Upon arrival, towels were organized into a snail shape 😁

Yarumo Lodge is truly a beautiful and peaceful place and we feel lucky to have stayed in this gem. The place was very well kept and spacious. Listening to the wildlife literally in the backyard was amazing. Our hosts were super responsive to our questions and generous. Highly recommended!

Great service, amazing food with many ingredients grown at the same facilities (eggs, fish, coffee, etc.). Comfortable rooms and a feeling of contact with nature. I loved to fall asleep with the sound of the river at night.

There are SO many great sodas and places to eat at in town, we didn't necessarily want to pay for included breakfast. The kitchenette was perfect, and we could re-heat leftovers etc, but it really felt more like staying at our own place. We hardly saw another person (staff or guests, but we know they were there!) the whole time, and it was so peaceful. Staff was very responsive to questions via Whatsapp, and the instructions for getting in and out of the gate/ parking area/ keys etc were very clear.

I could spend the time with wonderful nature and creatures. I really enjoyed watching many kinds of birds and frogs day and night. We can trail around the lodge. It was amazing. Host is very kind and friendly to me and she gave me detailed directions to the lodge. And she cooked tasty dinner I really recommend to stay this lodge.

Las Pavitas Arenal Suites se nachází v destinaci Fortuna a nabízí zahradu. Vodopád La Fortuna je 14 km daleko a Horké prameny Kalambu 7,5 km. The view is amazing ! Has everything as advertised. We loved having breakfast while watching the colibris. During the evening we had a firefly show and the visit of the biggest toad.

Finca Amistad Cacao Lodge se nachází na 60 hektarech kakaové farmy a hosté se mohou těšit na výlety, pozorování čokolády a ptáků. It is indeed one of our best stay during a 3 weeks travel in Costa Rica. It has all - beautiful, very comfortably equiped houses, perfect restaurant, amazing cacao field surroundings, wonderful nature and birds, great people, very interesting tours and a relaxing little spa. On top of all this - it has a perfect location, close to Rio Celeste (Parque Nacional Volcán Tenorio). Our huge thanks to all great team, who makes it happen!
