Marcos and his family welcomed us with such warmth and genuine kindness. They were always available with great recommendations, stories, and a sincere smile. You can truly feel the love and care they put into this place. It’s the ideal spot both for exploring Crete (close to beaches and Heraklion) and for recharging in the middle of nature.

We picked fresh oranges every morning from the tree and our host left in the house for us a bowl of figs. A lot of peace around, you only listen to the sound of nature. A very good stay and we will choose Liza's place again in the future if needed to stay in the area.

The house is located in a convenient place in the city and close to services despite being in a quiet street. We had a car and there is a convenient parking space inside the gate. We found cleanliness and care, a warm greeting to Tony 🤗

I had a wonderful time! I haven't slept as well as I did in this cave in years. Everything was spotless, and the bed was comfortable. The exceptional host provided instructions on my arrival about using the fan to make my stay as pleasant as possible. He was very caring, asking how I was and if I needed anything. He reacted immediately when I needed his help early in the morning, and was there within a few minutes. Great location, the city center is only a 15-minute walk, and a 4-minute walk is the Kafeneio Reisis, where the tasty, flavorful, delectable, heavenly food is.
