The location is great and the riverside view is absolutely breathtaking, with the sound of the flowing water making it extra tranquil. We stayed in the only two bedroom villa at Oemah Tepi Sawah to celebrate my birthday. It was the most amazing birthday I've had for years! For all I had hope for, was to spend some time in the nature, the quiet part of Bali, and Oemah Tepi Sawah was the perfect place for me. We spent two nights and everything was perfect. From the homecook meal they served during breakfast and dinner, unto the grounds itself which was surrounded by rice paddies and tropical jungle. Not to mention the staffs were exceptionally friendly and helpful. They are very polite to the guests including us who are actually local Indonesian. They spoke other languages like Dutch and English, and I have to give my hats off to ibu Dewi who is the owner of Oemah. We had a nice conversation on the last day we were there, and was very helpful in providing us information about the Subak Coffee (local grown coffee that was grown around the area). We would definitely come back, as we are nature lovers. Read the reviews before you book this place, don't expect a 5 star a hotel experience in the city. This place is for you to getaway from the craziness in the city, and be one with the nature!

Located just 31 km from Tegenungan Waterfall, The babakan accommodations provides accommodation in Sidemen with access to a garden, a terrace, as well as room service. We loved our room with amazing views on Mount Agung, the calming and relaxing atmosphere, very green every where arround, very welcoming and helpful host. Walking around is possible close to beautiful rice fields, nice restaurants, and café terrasses. We highly recommend this place, and we are grateful for the kindness of our host 🙏 ❤️ 😊 We are now in Ubud and we do miss the magic of Sidemen! We will definitely go back to Sidemen and stay in the Babakkan Accomodation ;)
