Ryan, family and all the staff were so lovely and helpful. Amazing food, great location, loved the little hut. I was staying with my brother so they also made an effort of giving us separate beds. So many things to do nearby! The waterfall hike was beautiful.

My first week stay I was traveling alone and always felt safe and secure.

Great jumping off point for adventures and close to some great restaurants.

Gianni is a brilliant host, super friendly with fun chat and very helpful. Norlan the housekeeper is also a lovely guy. The room was comfortable and clean (it was also cleaned a couple times during our stay), the kitchen is really good (fresh coffee every morning!), there are hammocks and tables outside for hanging during the heat of the day. The location is excellent - just off the beach, near the only two shops in Popoyo, next to several restaurants and opposite a board rental place. Easy access to the reef break (about 10-15mins walk), a bit longer to Beginners Bay. Wifi wasn’t great in our room but fine in the communal spaces. Great vibes, wish we could have stayed longer!

Situated in San Juan del Sur Bay, Hacienda & Ecolodge Morgan’s Rock has a children’s playground, outdoor pool, and a private beach area 1.5 km away. Simply a treasure of a find. Really takes eco sustainability to heart. It’s simple luxury with excellent service. Nothing was too much trouble and it felt like I had the whole place to myself much of the time. Food is delicious and while menu not exhaustive they changed dinner daily. Cannot recommend highly enough.

This place is so cute and relaxing! The view of Concepcion is so nice to wake up to in the morning and the energy here is so relaxed and comfortable. The dry toilets were cleaned everyday, the shower is nice. The grounds are well-kept. Location is great. Friendly and helpful staff - come prepared to speak Spanish!

The Jungle se găsește în Mérida, la 2,9 km de Vulcanul Maderas, și are vedere la munte, WiFi gratuit și parcare privată gratuită. We were given a very warm welcome and were well looked after by Maykel and his family . He arranged a volcano guide and we ordered packed lunches which were perfect at the top of a long hike . It was really useful that we could rent Maykal’s scooter as we had taken a taxi from the port. With large backpacks renting motos at the port would not have been fesible for us. Having independent ( not taxi) transport is, I think important to have a relaxed tour of this beautiful island . The roads are quiet and generally very low speed so biking is easy and the main way people get around. We had a wonderful , large room and big bathroom with a shower. There was a terrace where we sat peacefully in the evenings watching and listening to monkeys and enjoying the sunset. The food is all cooked to ordered. We had excellent breakfasts and we ate in 2 out of 4 evenings. They ask that you order your meal in advance so it can be freshly prepared. We were really happy with the location. Close to a lake beach, but close using the moto to the best sandy beaches- Playa Mango and San Domingo. The WiFi was excellent . We were so pleased we chose The Jungle and highly recommend it.

This place was very clean to be outdoors you do have a few bugs but nothing crazy. The view from your room is incredible! My partner and I loved this place and would definitely return.
