Our balcony private double room was a good size, nice views over town, warm comfortable bed and good hot shower with pressure. Ricky is a terrific host, smiling, happy and wanting to ensure you have the best experience possible. He helped with taxis and tours and was always willing to chat or help with anything. This isn’t 5 star- it is authentic, local guy making a lovely hostel for guests to enjoy.

From the moment I arrived, he made me feel welcome and at home. The facilities are excellent—clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The shower had reliably hot water (a big plus!), and both breakfast and dinner were delicious and satisfying every day. You can feel the care and love Ricky puts into everything he does. His two friendly dogs and super cuddly cat made the place feel even more like home. I can’t recommend staying here enough—thank you for everything, Ricky!

Ecolodge Casa del Montañista ligger 4,9 km från Rosas Pampa stadion och erbjuder boende med en trädgård, en gemensam lounge och en terrass samt restaurang. We loved that the Ecolodge was out of the city of Huaraz & that all we could hear was the sound of the river. We loved the room & the hammocks in the chill area in the garden. We also loved hanging out with the dogs, the cat & the chicken 😃. The breakfast was great & the family was super friendly & helpful. Walking us to the lodge in the dark & even coming with us into town at 4.30am to make sure we got the right bus for our hike to Laguna 69.

The Lazy Dog Inn ligger 7 km från Huaraz och 3 650 meter över havet. Här erbjuds en solterrass och utsikt över bergen. Nästan alla enheter har balkong och/eller uteplats. The Lazy Dog inn is a wonderfully run eco lodge above Huarez and very close to many wonderful hikes. The owners have done a fantastic job of integrating their lodge into the local environment and economy. The staff were all fantastic-especially the women working the kitchen-meals were superb made with fresh grown crops from the green houses onsite. Wayne was a wealth of information and a pleasure to talk with after a day in the mountains. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Våra värdar Magali och Carlos var oerhört välkomnande och generösa och delade med sig av sig själva och sin tid. Hela vistelsen var väldigt familjär och vi gjorde saker tillsammans och hade långa givande samtal. Själva platsen och deras gård med djur och odlingar är oerhört vacker.

Boutiquehotellet Cuesta Serena erbjuder boende med gratis Wi-Fi i gemensamma utrymmen och utsikt över bergen i Anta-Huaraz. Hotellet ligger högt upp i Anderna, bara några minuter från flygplatsen... The views from the hotel are amazing, you feel hugged by the mountains. I booked a short stay to relax before going to a conference. I also booked massages and Reiki. Truly a relaxing experience and I would definitely go back.
