Wow what a place to stay. The facility itself is impressive but the views even more impressive. The big challenge is getting there. A bit out of downtown Lamego and not easy to find even using Google maps. Missed the turn off three times - better signage would definitely help. Long winding road to get up to the facility so driving to get there late at night - need to be careful

Situated in Geres, in a historic building, 700 metres from Geres Thermal Spa, Chalet Villas Gerês is a recently renovated villa with an outdoor swimming pool and garden. Loved this apartment! The location was absolutely perfect. Our host was helpful, polite and super friendly. She showed us around the property, and made sure we had everything that we needed. She really wanted us to enjoy it as much as possible. We loved being able to relax on the porch and have leisurely breakfasts outside in the mornings. Great. Great. Great location. Oh, and they have ample parking.

The staff was incredibly kind and attentive. Also, the facilities was very comfortable and clean, the view was amazing and the breakfast was always complete. The only thing was that the bathroom water drain could be even smarter. In addition to everything, I recommend the Muas Guest House and their homemade cakes, they were amazing.

The recommendations from the owner for viewoints and hiking were very helpful. He also recommended us very good restaurants.

The view was great! The food was good so we didn't have to drive every night for dinner. Bar on premises. Everything was fabulous. Too bad they don't accept dogs. :-(

Situated in Mondim de Basto in the Norte Region region, Refúgio das Poldras features accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking, as well as access to a hot tub. We stayed in the one-bedroom chalet and absolutely loved it! The upstairs bedroom with the huge picture windows was so fantastic. We had rainy, chilly weather, so didn't take advantage of the outdoor seating and table, but it is really beautifully set up, inside and out. You can walk along the stream to get to a medieval bridge and, judging by the rope swing, it looked like you could swim in the stream in the summer. It's also a nice private location, at the end of the road with the three rental units well spaced out from one another. There's lots of nice sight-seeing and hiking to do in the area. We will definitely go back if we make another trip to Portugal.

Also great for kids to be able to learn about farm animals and rural environments.

With garden views, this accommodation features a terrace.... This place is fantastic, first line from the sea with excellent views. The accommodation is very well equipped and very comfy, with private parking. It far exceeded what we expected. We will be back.
