Chalet Villas Geres is a lovely oasis near the Peneda Geres National Park. It is within any easy walk to the charming town of Geres and near the hiking trails of Peneday Geres. The pool is clean and absolutey beautiful, tucked under a huge Palm tree with the river nearby. Our villa was quiet and private. The hosts, Susana and Tomas were a delight, went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable.

Izcilas brokastis un jauks, izpalīdzīgs personāls, skaistas, stilīgas istabas. Mums nepaveicās ar laika apstākļiem, bet domāju, ka siltā, skaistā laikā šo vietu varētu uzskatīt par mazu paradīzes stūrīti.

Featuring a swimming pool, a garden, a terrace and views of the mountain, Secret do Gerês is located in Vieira do Minho and provides accommodation with free WiFi. Everything was perfect. We were in December, we were worried about the temperature but completely unnecessarily - the fireplace in the suite heated the whole cabin quickly, adding a romantic, cozy atmosphere. Breakfast served in the morning at the door - bread, pancakes, yogurt, fruit, fresh juice. The whole cabin very clean, the bed very comfortable. The surrounding area is beautiful. The owners were very nice and helpful, they responded promptly in case of problems. We had a temporary power outage, we called and immediately the problem was solved. We felt special and thank you very much for that. The whole stay allowed us to get away from reality for a while. We will definitely return, and recommend to everyone.

Featuring river views, Solar do Cávado in Vieira do Minho features accommodation, a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, a shared lounge, a terrace, a restaurant and a bar. The breakfast offers a great variety, good quality and fresh products. The room was quiet and the large opening windows offer a spectacular view of the lush green surroundings. No other sounds here than birds, wonderful to keep the window open at night. The river is only a 3 minute walk down the mountain, and offers great swimming or kayaking. Joana and Nathalia are so lovely, they work swiftly and did everything they could to make us feel at home and it was a wonderful stay. The hotel kitchen offers snacks and complete meals (dinner), highly recommended! The food is delicious and plentyful, really incredible value for money. All in all, this is a really great place to stay!

Situated in Mondim de Basto in the Norte Region region, Refúgio das Poldras features accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking, as well as access to a hot tub. I liked everything there. When we arrived the room was well lit and warm, ready for our arrival. The space is tiny but this was expected. The view though - exceptional. Perfectly nice place, almost in the middle of nowhere, with lots of privacy and time to just relax far from the noises. Loved it and will be back.

Set in Vieira do Minho, 3.1 km from Canicada Lake and 5.9 km from Sao Bento da Porta Aberta Sanctuary, Oak Nature offers accommodation with free WiFi, a garden with an outdoor swimming pool, mountain... I stayed here on March 17th, 2025. This was the best hotel in Portugal. It had amazing views, a great staff and great amenities. I will stay here frequently.

Located 13 km from Braganca Castle, Cepo Verde offers accommodation with a balcony, as well as a garden and a bar. Guests staying at this chalet have access to a patio. Awesome place and we stayed an extra 2 nights. Food was reasonably priced so we didn’t even feel the need to cook.
