Featuring sea views, Alofa Beach Bungalows in Tanna Island features accommodation, a garden, a private beach area, a terrace, a restaurant and a bar. Great property. Right on the beach. Very well maintained and the family that run it are very friendly and helpful. We were coming from spending two nights in a tree house near Mt Yasur volcano which had no electricity and running water. From there to here with electricity and hot water it was an amazing feeling :) the restaurant has some great food too and an amazing breakfast spread.

I couldn’t wait to write this review as soon as I returned to Sydney. Robort and his family were incredibly friendly and helpful. They assisted me in arranging all my trips, including how to get to the treehouse, transportation to the airport, booking flight tickets, visiting the volcano, and even took me to the celebration. When I didn’t have enough cash to buy a ticket, Robort kindly helped me cover 600 Vatu—I’m truly grateful for that. His daughters were also adorable and guided me through the local tribal culture. They were all very patient. The condition of the treehouse was better than I expected. While it’s inevitable to see some small bugs, I didn’t encounter any rats. The treehouse is located right opposite the entrance to the volcano, just a two-minute walk to the ticket office—very convenient.

Montanna lodge is situated in Tanna Island and offers a restaurant. With mountain views, this accommodation features a balcony. An oven and a stovetop can be found in the kitchen.
