Enjoyed a fantastic meal at Loetschberg. Lively space with tables full of locals and visitors alike. The Coop is amazing! We got lunch in the "food court" and carried it upstairs to the bar area. Fantastic. The bears are a must-see, and we enjoyed a drizzly walk up to the Rose Garden. The Paul Klee museum is interesting, well done and clearly a labor of love for the city. Nothing much to do in Bern. Just Old Town.
Nothing much to do in Bern. Just Old Town. We ended up staying here for 5 nights. But it's waste that long. Instead I would recommend staying a night here, staying couple of nights at Interlaken, 1 night in Luzerne, couple of nights in Zermatt.Guest review byRaveendraUnited States

Room service was daily and very efficient. The hotel is situated very close to bus routes 101 & 107 (free to travel on using the BernWelcome app included with the booking) meaning that you have only a 10 min bus ride into the centre of Bern at pretty much any time of day (or night). Buses were frequent and very clean. Hotel staff were exceptionally helpful. The hotel is outside the old town but a short walk or with your free bus pass just 4 stops into the main station Just a short walk to the rose garden and bear pit. There is a coop supermarket just beside the hotel.....this and most of Bern is closed on a Sunday Free coffee is on tap in the lobby.
