We got to stay in the upper unit where we could watch monkeys just a few meters away, the room ia very spacious as is the bathroom, mosquito nets everywhere, breakfast was delicious and the host is very lovely and helpful. 5min to the beach and they also have bicycles for use. Definitely recommend!

Waking up and seeing animals everyday was an added bonus!

But what is absolutely exceptional is the location of the accommodation. The cottage is in a beautiful garden on the border of the town and the Cahuita National Park. This means that in a few minutes you can reach a well-stocked supermarket, restaurants. At the same time, you are a short distance from several beautiful and (in July) almost empty beaches and a tropical rainforest. As a bonus, capuchin and howler monkeys roam around the cottage almost daily, but you can also see agoutis, toucans and hummingbirds there. It's like you are staying in the middle of a zoo.

The setup was perfect for our group of 8, as we were able to enjoy both houses while sharing the garden and the patio. The space is ideal for relaxing after a day of exploring Tortuguero, and the attention to detail really made a difference. We recommend this place!
