The hotel is charming, cozy and has a very homely feeling. It feels like you are in someones home. The rooms are big and spacious, incl the bathrooms. The hotel has a lovely garden in the backyard and I believe most rooms have an outdoor patio. The food/restaurant is very good too. We had almost all our meals at the hotel and the menu has many different variations such as local cuisine, arab, chinese, western etc. The staff is all very kind, gentle and goes the extra mile for you and your needs. The hotel is located approx 10min walking distance from the city center. You wont regret staying here at all!

The hosts, who live downstairs, were incredibly kind and welcoming, making our stay even more enjoyable. The location is at one of the highest points in Sri Lanka, and it's definitely worth the trip for the scenery and peaceful atmosphere. Highly recommended

This is an excellent property, minutes away from the town center but what sets it apart is the attention to detail and great service We stayed in the cabana, a two-storied cottage next to the main building. It’s a lovely place with a sitting area on the ground level and the bedroom upstairs. The photos of the interior on the website show a luxurious, well-fitted space and the place lives up to this in every way. We were here in end November and the Christmas Tree was up adding a festive touch Food is good and plentiful (Tip: Opt for the Sri Lankan curry and rice) and service is outstanding. A special mention here for Avishka who was exceptional

My recent stay at Mount View Bungalow in Hatton was an absolutely delightful experience that truly exceeded expectations. Opting for the three-bedroom apartment proved to be an excellent choice, offering a haven of comfort, cleanliness, and breathtaking scenery. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the sheer spaciousness of the apartment and the evident care taken in its maintenance. The living area was thoughtfully furnished, creating a welcoming atmosphere with comfortable sofas, a TV, and convenient WiFi access that made us feel right at home. Each of the three bedrooms was remarkably spacious, providing ample room to relax. The provision of fresh, clean towels, crisp bedsheets, and cozy blankets ensured a restful night's sleep. The bathrooms were equally impressive, being immaculate and very well-maintained, reflecting a high standard of hygiene. For those who prefer to self-cater, the fully equipped kitchen was a fantastic amenity. It included a gas stove, refrigerator, rice cooker, heater jug, and a complete set of necessary utensils, making meal preparation a breeze. However, the true gems of Mount View Bungalow were the balconies attached to every room and the main hall. Stepping onto them revealed truly breathtaking panoramic views of the majestic mountains and lush tea plantations surrounding Hatton. These serene vistas provided the perfect backdrop for relaxation and soaking in the natural beauty of Sri Lanka. Practicality was also well-considered, with ample and secure parking available within the gated premises, offering peace of mind for guests with vehicles. Furthermore, the location is incredibly convenient, with Hatton town just a pleasant 10-minute walk away, providing easy access to shops and local amenities. The hospitality we received from the host was exceptional.

This place is even better than the photos. It’s a two story villa with a well equipped kitchen, upstairs bedroom with views forever, and the bath was a very special treat. We felt so at home here, cooked ourselves a meal with vegetables from the stall next door and relaxed on the comfy couch. I wish we had stayed longer to take advantage of the walks that can be accessed directly from the property. The staff a delightful. Highly recommend.
