Visiting the Douro region I found the best thing to do is to stay here. You will experience everything Douro region has to offer! Throughout your visit you will experience several tasting of the excellent portwines of the house. And staying there you don’t need to drive anymore. (Large carpark). There is a joint drink followed by a communal dinner. The food is excellent and portwines are used in the food as well. It’s a very nice to socialize with other guests. There is a lovely swimming pool with nice seating area overlooking the wineslopes. Rooms are spotless, very comfortabel and atmospheric. Last but not least: there is a beautiful 2 hour hike from the premises through the winefields with magnificant Douro riverviews from high above! This all makes for an unforgettable experience! Hotelli sijaitsee pienessä kylässä vuoden rinteellä keskellä kaunista viininviljelysmaisemaa. Illallis- ja aamiaisravistolasta oli ihanat näkymät rinteille ja Douro-joelle. Etenkin auringoslaskun seuraaminen oli todella kaunista. Sekä aamiainen että illallinen olivat herkullisia ja monipuolisia ja kaikki tilat olivat siistejä. Lämpimällä ilmalla oli ihanaa pulahtaa hotellin uima-altaaseen. Hotellin omistaja oli erittäin ystävällinen. Olisimme viihtyneet pidempäänkin kuin vain yhden yön. Vahva suositus!

Boasting pool with a view and views of mountain, Quinta da Ribeirinha - Douro River is a recently renovated farm stay situated in Paços de Gaiolo, 46 km from Douro Museum. I loved everything about the stay. The location was great, the room and facilities were exquisite, and the staff was exceptional. The breakfast was perfect and we loved every minute of it.

Situated in Castelo de Paiva, 41 km from Santa Maria da Feira Castle, CASA DAS FONTELAS features accommodation with an infinity pool, free private parking, a garden and barbecue facilities. We loved the reception by Mrs Julia, who was very kind and friendly. She gave us tips on restaurants nearby. We also enjoyed the wineyard at the bottom of the hotel and that we were allowed to walk around at any time. The place is very calm and quiet, perfect for a escape from the city hustle and bustle. Mr Jose was also of extreme kindness setting us up with a lovely boat tour through Douro on my bday. We had just asked where we could arrange for the tour and he went all the way calling the person and helping us organize. Breakfast was delicious and all the staff was really attentive. We highly recommend a stay with them!

We were a trio of friends visiting the Douro region for the first time and this was a fantastic experience. Driving into the Quinta and opening the doors to the house was a dream come true for the beauty and peace and quiet of the vast vineyards. Breakfast was delivered daily to the house and we enjoyed lazing by the pool and walking around the estate. Fernanda hosted us for the winery walk and tasting and we ended up with several bottles of wine to take home. Thank you for the warmth and hospitality we felt at the Quinta. We hope to return soon.

Featuring pool with a view and views of mountain, D'Autor Village is a recently renovated villa set in Valadares, 23 km from Douro Museum. Everything! Outstanding location, amazingly beautiful and full of charm. Hospitable and friendly staff, magical feel to it. I Recommend wholeheartedly!!!

Situated within 13 km of Natur Waterpark and 36 km of Douro Museum, Casa do Santo - Wine & Tourism features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Provesende. Beautiful place, brand new, very welcoming and cozy. Wine tasting was personal and interesting. Dinner was great!
