Overlooking the scenic Douro River Valley, Quinta da Casa Cimeira, Guest House, Wines & Food is set in a historic country house and surrounded by a garden and vineyards. Visiting the Douro region I found the best thing to do is to stay here. You will experience everything Douro region has to offer! Throughout your visit you will experience several tasting of the excellent portwines of the house. And staying there you don’t need to drive anymore. (Large carpark). There is a joint drink followed by a communal dinner. The food is excellent and portwines are used in the food as well. It’s a very nice to socialize with other guests. There is a lovely swimming pool with nice seating area overlooking the wineslopes. Rooms are spotless, very comfortabel and atmospheric. Last but not least: there is a beautiful 2 hour hike from the premises through the winefields with magnificant Douro riverviews from high above! This all makes for an unforgettable experience! I loved everything about the stay. The location was great, the room and facilities were exquisite, and the staff was exceptional. The breakfast was perfect and we loved every minute of it.

Amazing place - the highlight of our trip! There is so much that was great. The new accommodation is fabulous - 2 bed apartments, one a mezzanine, with the most tremendous architecture and stunning views over the Quinta’s valley. Fernanda was an extraordinary hostess, she went far out of her way to give us an intimate tour of the wine production and a perfect sunset tasting with nibbles. You really are a part of the farm, not separate - we were encouraged to wander through the vineyards and pick almonds from the trees. The Quinta is on a beautiful plateau with quiet roads, great for local wanders and runs, rural with dreamy views. The wine was amazing - some of the best while we had all the trip, and tremendous value. The swimming pool is quite chilly, though location is perfect, nestled in the vineyards.

Outstanding location, amazingly beautiful and full of charm. Hospitable and friendly staff, magical feel to it. I Recommend wholeheartedly!!!

Matatagpuan sa Provesende, 13 km mula sa Natur Waterpark, at 36 km mula sa Douro Museum, ang Casa do Santo - Wine & Tourism ay nagtatampok ng accommodation na may libreng WiFi, air conditioning, at... Beautiful place, brand new, very welcoming and cozy. Wine tasting was personal and interesting. Dinner was great!
