It oozes tradition from its 3/4 pound iron key, traditional log cabin building, corner plaster fireplace. It was the most memorable place we stayed on our entire trip. Highly recommended.

Situated just 6.8 km from Falun Mine, Lakeside log cabin Främby Udde Falun features accommodation in Falun with access to a garden, barbecue facilities, as well as private check-in and check-out. The log cabin was gorgeous and had everything you would need. The view was the most amazing part. The cabin is right at the lakeside with nothing spoiling the view. We did not want to leave!

The hostess Margaretha is the warmest person you could ever wish to meet. The cottage next to a beautiful lake was everything we wanted with the town close by and just a tiny walk for a swim.

Beautifully furnished, a small house that gives a cozy, home-like feeling. It is located in a very peaceful area. The host is kind, the accommodation is next to their own home, they answered our questions immediately. There are several heating options in the house, so the temperature is easy to adjust and it warms up quickly. A ski slope is nearby.

Located in Mora in the Dalarna region, Nybyggd stuga intill skogsbrynet - New built cottage next to the cowberry forest provides accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. The cottage is a simple very modern and comfortable place. Lovely views of forest and snow covered grass garden. It is well equipped and spotlessly clean. The furniture is simple and comfortable. The owners live next door and spoke fluent english and were charming and helpful. Nearby there is a beautiful lake and some really nice old villages and hiking trails. We drove the 3 hours to the Norwegian border through some wonderful snow covered landscape and visited the skiing areas to soak up the winter atmosphere. I recommend this cottage if you want to enjoy the local hikes, lake and villages and also the nice small town of Mora.

View on a river from the cottage is just amazing! The house is placed in a beautiful garden, so breakfast on a terrace is very nice. There is possibility to swim in the river. Equipment in the house is sufficient.

Soldattorpet Sands, a property with a garden, is located in Leksand, 42 km from Tomteland, 45 km from Falun Mine, as well as 50 km from Lugnet Sports Centre. Me and my daughter really enjoyed staying at this property. We came in search for snow, and we weren't disappointed. Lovely owners, Lassie and Chia, kindly gave us a lift in their car from and to the train station and even found a sledge for my daughter to enjoy the snowy experience! The cottage itself is beautiful, comfortable and very cozy. We had a great sleep in the bunk bed and were very warm there, while there was -12 outside. We also appreciated the owners support for our country, Ukraine. It was a wonderful experience and we are looking forward to returning here in the summer.
