Modern rooms with great functional design and a window - ours facing inside the building and overlooking other residents sharing the block which felt intimate. (There are rooms facing outside - which would be lovely) Great breakfast spread, amazing filtered water machine available 24/7, coffee/tea making machine also 24/7 that churns out pretty good espresso! After soaking in the historic atmosphere each day in Rome, it’s nice to come back to a modern, simple and non-rococo room to just rest your eyes! Highly recommend and would love to return soon.

Situated in the heart of Rome, Torre Argentina Relais - Residenze di Charme is 5 minutes’ walk from the Pantheon. With free Wi-Fi, it offers modern-style rooms featuring a spa bath, and air conditioning. The location is perfect (we walked to all major attractions). I can’t rate the staff friendliness and helpfulness enough, had an issue with the booking (double booked) and had to cancel one even though it said not refundable Marta at reception helped in getting a full refund. Farook also deserves a special mention as he helped a lot with everything and not only our heavy luggage.

Across the road from Campo de' Fiori, Navona Queen Rooftop is in a 19th century building and offers a panoramic terrace with a hot tub overlooking Rome, Castel Sant'Angelo and the Gianicolo hill. You can walk to Piazza Navona in 5 minutes. Location was perfect, loved the hotel setting in an old building. room was spotless, fantastic shower, rooftop is a gorgeous addition
