I felt immediately at home when I first arrived, and despite the great museums and attractions nearby, I spent most of my free time on the terrace enjoying the sun, Nubian music, and just chatting to Bassam. The rooms are understandably basic but comfortable to sleep in, and it's only a short walk from the public ferry. Remember to bring your own toiletries!

This accommodation is perfect for relaxing and spending quality time on the banks of the river. The attention from the staff was very good, all very helpful and hospitable. We would have liked to stay longer in the accommodation. It has its own restaurant. It has breakfast service and it is very complete. Mahmoud was a great host and helped us with everything we needed.
