The hosts (parents and son) were all so sweet. Amazing breakfast under a canopy of grapes, beautiful views from the room, clean and spacious private bathroom, well designed bedroom. Cute cats and tortoises to watch and say hi to. One of my favorite stays.

I don't even know if I have enough vocabulary to describe how much I loved staying at their place! It was beyond my expectations for everything. Everything is brand new since they just started the hostel/hotel. Breakfast was better than any other restaurant. Apparently, the owner worked as a chef before she retired. We felt so welcomed during the entire stay. If you are doubtful since there are not many reviews, please don't! It will make your trip 🥰

The welcome is exceptional and authentic, with attentive and very kind hosts. The breakfasts are plentiful, tasty and generous, and the smell of traditional Albanian donuts is pleasant in the morning. The view from the balcony is magnificent, offering a beautiful perspective on the mountains and the city’s castle. I highly recommend this charming place, managed by great people!

By far the best guest house we ve ever stayed. The room was clean and tidy. The hostess made sure we had everything we needed and always asked what else we d like. The breakfast was fulfilling and the view breathtaking. We ll definitely stay there again when we visit Gjirokaster. Thank you, Foteini, you ve been incredible!

I was contacted before I arrived with details on how best to find the guesthouse on arrival. I was arriving early but was available for me to self check in then go out to explore. Was given easy directions to find the castle which didn't take long. Amazing communication. I got a taxi up from the bus station which wasn't very expensive . It was very hot so was glad if the taxi. 45 minutes to walk up the hill from bus station.Beautiful views from the communal sitting area, private balcony was great for having a coffee on. Breakfast was at the time I requested and had plenty to eat. I was going back to Tirana and the host kindly packed up some of my breakfast for my journey.

We had a lovely 3 day stay at this friendly family-run guesthouse - Maria made us so welcome. Our room was spotlessly clean and looked out onto the beautiful terrace with amazing views across Gjirokaster to the castle, with the mountains behind. The guest house is situated up the hill from Gjirokaster but it's not far to walk into the centre, and it's worth it! Breakfast was very generous and we ate on the terrace, enjoying the view. I would highly recommend this as a place to stay in Gjirokaster.

    The guesthouse is very beautiful in a great location. Adela is a wonderful host, replies fast and will help you with everything. Breakfast is available for €7 per person which we thought was great. The room was very comfortable and modern, the balcony was beautiful, the airconditioning worked well and the shower pressure was great.

    Clyde was a great host and we were well looked after. The guest house is a great quiet location in the old town, with superb panoramic views from the terrace where a great breakfast is also served. The room was spacious, very clean and comfortable. Ideal location making it easy to get to despite it being in the old town, and only a 10 minute walk to the centre! Thank you for a great and relaxing stay!
