I travelled with my two daughters to Salento and stayed at Reserva Guadalajara in the stunning place of the Cocora Valley. Diego and his staff were very kind, helpful and ensured we were very comfortable. The house was as beautiful and as I dreamt of. Breakfast was lovely and the location was perfect for visiting Salento. We were looking for beautiful country side and near Salento, the best of both worlds! Diego helped us with organising transport to allow us to move within the area and visit any place we were recommended. Diego took my girls horse-riding and as they had never ridden before, Diego made them feel at ease, they had a lovely picnic and they thoroughly enjoyed it. The house was lovely and we felt very at home at Reserva Guadalajara!

Our hosts gave us the most warm and generous welcome, we really felt like home. They were very caring to us, gave great advice and even booked our bus tickets by calling the agency without us even asking! And what a nice place they have, our stay was a treat. Everything was perfect, highly recommended!

Great location, a bit outside of the city center but not too far only about a 10 minute walk.The property has a nice open space to hangout and do some work. Nice view of surrounding mountains from the open lounge. Well equipped kitchen for anybody who likes to cook :D Very peaceful early morning and most of the day as well. Highly recommend for couples. The wifi worked great for the 10 days we stayed here. If you have any problems though, there are plenty of cafes in the center nearby. Cocora valley is also about 20 minute drive from here. Pictures below of Valley and of city center 10 minutes from Casa la Eliana. Jesus and his family were very hospitable, our entire stay. Look forward to coming back :D

I felt really welcomed by the owners and staff. It's a great place for those who enjoy the nature and tranquility. We booked one of the smaller rooms, but it was beautiful, clean and well-maintained. We were greeted with a cup of delicious coffee and bowl of fresh fruits, the owner showed us their spacious garden, bunnies and birds, it's a good place to relax and connect with nature. There's a small restaurant just steps away and it's a perfect spot if you want to get away from the crowded town of Salento.
