The location: perhaps a six-minute walk to the train station; just a couple blocks from the downtown area; and, a few blocks to a good grocery store. (A quick stroll as well to the Bayrish Pub, where I enjoyed a good evening with welcoming locals.) Shared bathroom? A reasonable tradeoff for the more-than-reasonable low November price compared to area hotels. What made the hostel all the better? The cheerful, easy-going, hard-working manager.
