It was amazing to stay in a traditional Japanese thatched house (over 300 years old). The accommodation was warm and had a very cosy lounge area (with guitars and other instruments to play) and lots of cooking space. The location was also quite spectacular with views of the city at night and located next to a lake, park, and sports facilities. There is also a bus stop directly outside of the property. Definitely a must if you're planning to stay in Nanto.

Travelers' house ROOTs se află în Takaoka, la 47 km de Castelul Kanazawa și la 47 km de Grădina Kenrokuen. Such a nice place to stay in! The staff is so nice and really keen to give you advice about the area. I highly recommend the hostel which is very clean and comfortable. And on top of that, it's close to the bus/train station !
