All the other guest were super friendly, it was very easy to get in touch with other guests and even plan some trips together. The north side of the island can be colder then the rest of the island in January. I was very happy the room got a lot of blankets! I never felt cold. The house is soo close to the see! It's beautiful ❤️

Close to the center, but still quiet. Very comfortable and with nice design. The host was super friendly, he recommended us a very interesting trail run and a couple restaurants to eat. The shared kitchen has everything you need, clean. There is a place you can leave staff so others can pick it up and it won't be wasted. We loved that idea! Room was very comfortable and had enough space. You can also buy some local handmade products, we got a soap with a really beautiful orange scent 😍

I would definitely recommend staying here when you’re in Madeira. There are multiply hikes around the area and the natural pools in Seixal are very nice too!

29 Madeira Hostel set in the centre of Funchal, Madeira Island. The property offers budget accommodation in dormitories and private rooms. We had a private room with shared bath. It was super clean and very comfortable. We did not have a problem with noise at all. Towels and linens included in our stay. We enjoyed visiting the nearby museum and garden (Musea da Quinta das Cruzes) which is just a short walk away. This hostel was a great value.

The hostel is ideally located in the old town, close to the nice places of Funchal. The room was all cleaned, well equiped, and beautiful. We had very nice expérience there. I also recommand to go to the restaurant downstairs which is very good. Nice welcome from both hostel and restaurant.
