Cardigan has shops selling locally made arts and crafts. It also has a wonderful Italian restaurant called Mannuccis which had a fantastic gluten free menu. There are plenty of beautiful locations to visit nearby to Cardigan

Cardigan Castle disappointing, not much to see, may be of more interest to somebody wanting historical facts. To me a waste of time and money. Castle virtually non existent. Cardigan is a town that time has forgotten! For that it is pleasantly quaint. Nice cafes. Probably better on a fine day!

Quite a quaint town during the day but at night it does come alive especially the pubs. A really lovely range of shops and food places. A visit to the castle is a must. The best places are often the ones reccomended by locals. 2 days just wasn't enough for me, as just a little further out was glorious bays, beaches and mountains but more spectacular was the waterfalls

Beautiful area to stay despite the mixed weather.

Beautiful area to stay despite the mixed weather. Went for a few walks on the coastal pathways which had breathtaking views. Cardigan was 10 minutes away by car. Enjoyed a lovely lunch at Crwst. This is a must for anyone visiting the area. Great pasta lunch at Berlotti's. A fairly good variety of shops in Cardigan. We also visited Theatre Mwldan during our stay to watch the latest Poirot film.

Not a great deal in the town and much is shut early in the week including restaurants and bars but there are some gems. The Copper Pot serves excellent food and the welcome at the Black Lion Hotel could not be warmer.

Beautiful accommodation in a lovely home and rooms just outside of Cardigan. Wonderful fresh cut up fruit is served with your breakfast. Hostess was lovely and very accommodating. We needed an earlier breakfast in order to catch the Poppit Rocket bus to hike a stretch of the Pembrokeshire Coast Path. The approximate mile long road approaching the lodging is a typical narrow country lane (with turnouts) that can be a little nerve wracking for those not accustomed to narrow roads. This establishment is well worth the drive down to it.

My family and I spent a few days here recently and we loved it. The whole place was lovely. The owners were so helpful and really nice. There was a gorgeous outdoor heated swimming pool and a hot tub outside our accommodation. My family spent a great afternoon playing the huge outdoor chess game and the kids loved the play area. The beds were really comfortable and the place was so clean. It felt so luxurious and we were sorry to have had only booked a short stay here. We will be back and would highly recommend this holiday cottage.

This was one of the best hospitality experiences we've ever had! The staff are the heart of Albion, each of them helpful, kind, knowledgeable, and friendly - always willing to chat, give recommendations, and connect. The breakfast was delicious, the restaurant on-site is amazing (though only open on the weekends), and the bar/coffee is well-stocked and wonderful. The hotel itself is thoughtfully designed with quality products with an incredible location in the city and in Wales overall.

Booking process was very straightforward, there's parking out front & check in was very easy. Nicola & Anthony that run it are lovely, so friendly, very welcoming & go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. Our room (3) was very nice & had everything we needed & the double bed was very comfortable. Plenty of tea/coffee + bottled water which is always on offer if you're running low. The hotel is a 5min walk from Cardigan Castle & so in a great spot for exploring the town.

We needed an overnight stay close to Cardigan to attend a wedding. Flambards was perfect. Rooms were really clean and cozy. Facilities and shower was great. The Host was really friendly and accommodating. He also let us check out slightly later so we could get ready for the wedding we were attending. The Breakfast was also good and as a coeliac I was well catered for which is rare. Overall Great place to stay in this area of Wales.

Everything was great, nice hotel and pleasant staff. Our room was nice and cozy, clean and enough space for the two of us. We had view of the car park, but we didn't upgrade to a sea view so we got what we paid for. Breakfast was included which was very tasty and many options to chose from. Location of the property was lovely, with a beautiful seaside walk just across the road.

Superb location, close to so many towns, villages and beaches. Had a lovely stay. The Cottage is on the site of the beautiful Penrallt Country House Hotel in Aberporth which is a lovely setting. Short drive to Cardigan, which is what we wanted; places to eat... PizzaTipi, The Copper Pot, El Salsa, Stiwdio 3 Cafe for breakfast. Try 'A Bay to Remember' for boat trips

The location is superb for town, yet was very quiet, even in the garden. The garden is lovely and has adequate privacy (great for yoga!). The cottage is very comfortable, relaxing and tastefully furnished. There was thorough information about the house, appliances, services and local area provided by the host in 2 well stocked files. Would definitely rebook.

The site was secure, safe and central to the town and West Wales with lovely views of the river. The room was beautifully furnished and finished. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was fascinating to stay somewhere with such a depth of history. Although the castle is in the centre of the town it is peaceful and private. It was a privilege to stay there.

We arrived around 8 pm and were still able to check in before the cut off time. Free parking for our car (although the parking area is tiny...I read there is a secondary lot in case the first one is full). Fully equipped kitchen. Our room was bare bones but clean and comfortable. The shared bathroom was also very clean. Nice hot water shower. Great price!

Amazing location with views to die for. Had dinner at the hotel and managed to get a window seat with fantastic views of the sunset with a pleasant short walk along the cliffs afterwards. Food was also exceptional. At breakfast we actually saw dolphins swimming in the bay. What a treat.
