The staff were helpful and friendly, the hotel room was cozy (as was the bed!), the common areas were inviting (some lounges had wood-burning fireplaces!), and the pool, hot tub and steam room were very relaxing. The breakfast included each morning was delicious, and the other meals I experienced in the dining room were wonderful! The cocktails were also amazing :)

The hut is beautiful , in rolling countryside with a great pub just a few minutes drive down the road (The fish ) - It was my first time staying in one and it was a perfect space to unwind after a long day on a course at nearby Minerva Mill. It was very peaceful and warm and cosy and the bed was superb .. I truly did not want to leave … If I was in the area I would definitely use it again .. The Scandinavian hot tub was fabulous , but do be aware it takes 2.5 hours to heat - A nice time to sit outdoors and have a glass of something cold ..once done tho - it is fantastic … The hot tub and the hut were both spotless and the mini bathroom was beautiful and very well put together for such a small space … The owners are lovely and the whole area around the house is very pretty and clean ..
