We had a wonderful stay at the Lake Hotel. Our room had a lovely view of the lake and the castle ruins. The room itself was beautiful, well appointed and the bed was so comfortable. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and the staff was wonderful in accommodating us when we had to leave very early to get to Skellig Michael for a boat tour. We also enjoyed dinner at the hotel one evening where the staff and the meal were excellent as well. In the evenings, the seating areas with access to the bar where live music was always playing was wonderful. We highly recommend the Lake Hotel to everyone! The location is ideal and in conclusion - it's amazing!

Perfect location, beautiful building, incredible staff (friendly, helpful and efficient). I stay in 75+ hotels a year and this one is in the top few. Breakfast is nicely presented, delicious and fast. Staff are very attentive. No negatives at all. Concierge is top notch.

I really enjoyed my visit to the spa — the atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing, and the facilities were of a very high standard. The staff were welcoming and professional, and the treatment itself was excellent, leaving me feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. Great stay. Even tough we were late for our checkin (our fault, as the coastal drive was just too beautiful) the hosts were very nice and left us the keys in the box. Very cosy little pod with everything you need for a nice stay.
