Our only regret, truly, is that we were only guests of Villa Vicuña for only a single night. Though it is unlikely we will return to Cafayate, there is no doubt that if circumstances do delivery us back into its embrace that we will look no further than Villa Vicuña for accommodation.

El Cortijo Hotel is a colonial house transformed into a boutique hotel, in the village of Cachi, Salta. It offers pleasant rooms with traditional Argentinean décor and a gourmet restaurant. This is an exceptional small design boutique hotel that you would never imagine finding in Cachi. I have no doubt that this is the best hotel because it would be difficult to beat. Incredible good taste design, comfortable, chill feeling, all in impeccable condition including the garden. Restaurant was also very good, very high level. A rare find!
