Everything was perfect about our stay. The staff is considerate, helpful, and full of good humour. This was by far the cleanest and most well-maintained hotel we stayed at in Egypt. The kitchen is well-stocked and free for use. The water and soft drinks are sold at market prices. Hamada and Mohammed are super helpful and well-informed. The dog is super quiet and well-behaved.

Kato Dool Wellness Resort asub Aswanis, 19 km kaugusel Aga Khani mausoleumist. Kohapeal on välibassein, tasuta eraparkla, aed ja ühine puhkeruum. The resort is located a bit far but easily reached by a free tuk tuk provided by the resort. Having said that it’s location has the most breathtaking views. The resort is very well maintained, beautifully built and complimented by it’s decor and vibrant colours. Breakfast and dinner was of good quality and we truly loved having dinner overlooking an incredible view. The pool is a plus to the resort and we happen to use it alot.Last but not least the staff are super friendly and helpful. Thank you Abdull Sad,Tarak and all the rest whom we happen to meet while on our stay . Hoping to see you again someday.

Best hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Everything was perfect — the room service, cleanliness, literally everything was amazing. Yahia the guy in the pool bar is very friendly, he made my stay even better

Obelisk Nile Hotel Aswan Resort is located on the Nile Corniche, just 5 minutes' drive from the centre of Aswan. All rooms have a garden view. Beautiful design and location with great views at meals and by the pool.

The Zen Wellness Resort asub Aswanis, 14 km kaugusel Aga Khani mausoleumist. Kohapeal on välibassein, tasuta eraparkla, aed ja ühine puhkeruum. It was so beautiful… The pool, the flowers, the outdoor seating at the restaurant. The rooms were calming, clean, and beautiful.

Kato Waidi Nubian Resort asub Aswanis, 18 km kaugusel Aga Khani mausoleumist. Kohapeal on terrass, tasuta eraparkla ja restoran. We stayed in the Kolod room at Kato Waidi and it was beautiful! The room, the property and the entire Nubian village is colourfully decorated. The room was a decent size, fabulously decorated and its domed roof made for the strangest acoustics (worth having a play with if you're staying with someone else!). The bathroom was small and the shower was almost directly over the toilet but this oddly was not an issue as it was not cramped at all and the water on the floor drains and dries up very quickly. Everything was very clean. We loved having meals in the outdoor dining area. The dogs and cats on the property were very entertaining and a highlight of the stay. The Egyptian food was nice too. The Nubian market is directly outside the entrance of the property and is a great way to spend a bit of time. There was also an ATM right outside the hotel entrance which was handy. The manager is so easy going and attentive. He ensured our room was available even though we arrived very early and even had breakfast made for us even though it was well past breakfast time! And also very kindly organised a private sunset boat ride from the property which was great. He also took care of the airport transfers. We paid for everything at the end of our stay which made things so much easier as we just added things onto our tab as we went along. The value for money here was fantastic. If we had more time we would have also taken a felucca boat ride with picnic.

We were lucky to get Nile view rooms, and waking up to that breathtaking scenery every day made the experience incredibly memorable and well worth it. The sense of peace and serenity from the view alone added so much value to our stay. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome. They were warm, professional, and went out of their way to accommodate our needs—including a late check-out, which we really appreciated. Every interaction we had with them reflected their sincere commitment to hospitality and guest satisfaction. The breakfast spread each morning was impressive, offering a wide variety of fresh and delicious options. What stood out the most was their thoughtfulness in catering to guests with early excursions—particularly for Abu Simbel. They not only offered a 3 AM breakfast service but also provided packed breakfast boxes for those on the go, which was incredibly convenient and thoughtful. The resort itself is tucked away in a location that feels very exclusive and peaceful, far from the noise and crowds, yet it remains accessible. The private ferry service to and from the main parking area was prompt, well-managed, and added a touch of uniqueness to the experience—it made us feel like we were on a private island retreat. After long days of sightseeing and travel, the resort’s spa was a true sanctuary. I had one of the best foot massages I’ve ever experienced—deeply relaxing and much needed after a full day of walking. It was the perfect way to unwind and rejuvenate. Also they have a 4 pm chocolate hour which my kids loved! All in all, our stay here was more than just accommodation—it felt like a peaceful escape that left us refreshed, well cared for, and full of beautiful memories. We would absolutely love to return and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

The location is in a tranquil nubian village on the west side of the Nile. If you're with the car, you easily exit on a highway towards the Aswan Dam of Abu Simbel. The courtyard is a traditional one, the room was big, clean and with a good wi-fi. The host was careful and the surroundings looked safe. We also parked the car at the gate front and it was ok. The breakfast was tasteful and we served it outside in the courtyard. On the evenings, the lights from the courtyard make a warm and nice atmosphere. A good value for money!
