showers weren't the best, poor pressure and the heat was sporadic, also the cubicles made the showers awkward to get in and out of because of how small they were. Beds were OK in dorm however most in my room didn't have a ladder or easy access, you had to climb up and over the bottom of the frame, OK if your nimble

location is beautiful. So close to the best of the Blue Mountains, short walk downhill from the train station, staff were friendly and helpful. Good common areas and communal kitchen. Good WiFi too

the bed sheet is not clean when I first opened it, I found many hairs on it the water of shower was small

Winter problem: It‘s freezingly cold in both kitchen and communal area in the evening! Apart from that, amenities are not in the best state, with water constantly dripping from shower heads. But it‘s alright! I can recommend the hostel.

Beautiful building and common area. Staff is very nice, rooms are beautiful as well. Kitchen and communal area are large and very well equipped.

Great place to stay for the Australia Ultra Trail, atmosphere was amazing and facilities good with lots of hot water, comfortable enough beds and a good breakfast.

Had some trouble confirming late check in instructions. But ultimately made it into the hostel at a later time with no problems.

Heater was not working on the first night. They only turned it on the second night when it rained/weather got cold. They provided 2 standing lights for the room as the ceiling lights were not working. We didn't even notice anything wrong until we came back and the standing lights were gone and the ceiling lights replaced. Wish they would have informed us that they will come into the room to fix the lighting.

Location is within walking distance to Woolworths and Coles. Great restaurants nearby too.

You had to use your badge to open the door for the showers. Breakfast was cheap, but kinda basic. If you're on a budget, then it would be perfect. If not, there are a lot of bakeries nearby.

Big kitchen and lot of space to sit and relax. The hostel is a bit further in the street, but that makes is a nice quiet hostel.

The kitchen was very dirty I really didn’t want to cook in there. Breakfast was pretty basic for the cost. Rooms rather tired looking but it’s an old building

We had to share a plug socket in the room. The person I had to share with kept taking mine out as hers somehow used two at once. It was a huge inconvenience at the time. I did find this wasn't much of a social hostel, people would stay in there own groups and not really welcome others. They had kids at this hostel. Pool table and cubes was broken

I like how big the kitchen, dinning room and lounge area was and how it was all open. I liked they had sofas to relax on and had films playing in the evening

The staff was okay.. not the most friendly but just okay. Also the property is just verrrryyyy old but that fits in the locations I guess. It's a basic village and I wouldn't recommend staying there for more than just one night.

It's the perfect location, close to the Blue Mountains hiking trail. The kitchen is very big and spacious and a lot of people can cook at the same time without being in eachothers way

N/A we enjoyed our comfortable stay here - whilst there was no parking left in their attached car park when we got there, there was plenty of unrestricted parking down the same road as car park.

Room was clean & comfortable with heating that we could control that was quick & effective. Good size bathroom with towels provided. Safe & secure with security doors around the property. Surprisingly quiet after 10pm for a hostel. Large comfortable communal areas & kitchen with plenty of fridge storage.
