The noise from the kitchen fans starting up in the morning and again in the evening were very annoying.

The breakfast was OK. Location was excellent. Staff were helpful and friendly.

The parking area is rather cramped and troublesome to come in and out because you have to call the staff to open the gate but considering that, due to the historical nature of the local real estate, most other nearby places to stay don't even have a parking space, it's still a convenience. Be very careful with the hot water when you shower, because it's seriously scalding hot!

Perfectly located, great colonial-style atmosphere, friendly staff, love the old-school elevator, but what really surprised me was the complimentary late-afternoon tea buffet, very rare and convenient amenity.

A lovely old house, well placed and with surprising "in house" parking spaces. Well modernised and good views. Breakfast with more or less everything possible and you could ask for more. Excellent position in a steep town, half way between the top and the bottom.

Breakfast was very good. Tea time at 5 PM was marvelous. Keep up the good work. The ambiance was very good and the good taste of the furniture and paintings was very pleasant. Very clean.

the site did not indicate that it was on a VERY steep hill. I have a knee problem and need assistance with a cane and my husbands arm. it was very difficult to leave and get to the hotel. Granted that Ouro Preto is all very hilly, but this particular street is one of the steepest. would not recommend if you have walking problems, definitely no wheelchairs.

Amazing location in the heart of town, easy walk to everything. Clean room, comfortable bed, AC worked okay, good water pressure/hot water in the bathroom. Great breakfast.

As an old building the noise from the room above may be a little bit irritating at some moments. Unluckily, I had an upper neighbor who walked on high heels for at least 20 min in the room. If you have the chance, you may prefer upper rooms. The parking lot access is in another address - although greatly connected internally. Due to a construction work in the front street, I had to drive additional 10 min to reach the parking access. If I had been told the right address since the reservation, it would have been easier for me.

Impressive package over all. Comfortable room, very clean and well kept. Good breakfast and afternoon tea (another breakfast in the end of the afternoon. Location is outstanding and having these facilities in the middle of Ouro Preto is an additional challenge. Congratulations!!!

the main street is currently under renovation, so it doesn’t give the complete feeling of what the hotel has to offer.

very nice lobby and rooms are confortable. the breakfast is exceptional, and the late afternoon brunch is also very complete and open to the guests. location is very central and close to most restaurants and touristic spots.

The shower head needs to be decalcified so that the water doesn't run off in a trickle. It would have been nice to have a soap dish on the bathroom sink. A container for toothbrushes and razors would also have been appreciated.

Location Beautiful main room in the arrivals hall, in colonial style. No noise.

-extremely small room -safebox not functional -35€ bill for laundry service paid at check-out!!! I found this extremely abusive for clothes without interest and that moreover could have waited to be washed
