The location is great, Berri Uqam, is a great spot to move around the city easily. The cleanliness of the room & bathroom everyday. That’s really positive. The lobby is quite nice & the staff is super friendly, polite & smiling.

Mostly, the bedroom’s door are quite heavy, there is no way you can silently leave. If your roommates are not considerate (aka slamming the door between 4-5 am) The lockers door do make a strident noise too.

Food options were very limited. No tea cups in the bedrooms. No kettle to boil water for tea,they only had coffee machines in the room. I don’t drink coffee so this was an issue for me. I was asked to go down to the kitchen area to get hot water for tea.

Not sure why square pillows on the bed. Nobody sleeps with square pillows. Breakfast was the absolute bare minimum.

Food delivery person was not permitted to come Up to the room. I was told I needed to come down to the lobby, which I was not pleased with. Inconvenience was not appreciated at almost midnight. Room was far too hot. Pillows were sub par. No fridge in the room. Second time at an Alt property, once at Toronto airport and second time at Dix30. Both stays were mediocre at best.

Place was filthy. Thermostat didn’t work & pumped heat continuously & couldn’t shut it off -> horrible night sleep each night. Manager didn’t respond until check out cause he was “ill” No bedding for pull out bed as I was assured there would be

It was close to the highway so you hear everything. Moreover they don’t accept cash for damage deposit only card payments . Also not very customer friendly ! It’s expensive for nothing !
