Friendly staff who made us feel welcome. Showed concern for injuries sustained in a minor motorcycle accident! Breakfast was excellent. Good choice of food and drink, looked after by an attentive host. I was lucky enough to have a room with a river view. Lovely to wake up to each day. Safe secure garage available for motorcycle and car parking, although I would have been perfectly happy to park my bike on the street.

We had a superior room with balcony. The balcony was amazing and we had breakfast there every morning. The room was simple but had all we needed and was clean. No frills hotel and despite being in an area with lots of night life (Lavapies/La Latina), it was on a very quiet street. Two metro lines close by. Very central

Too much of the smelly room freshener or something that was overbearing in the lobby and the rooms. Asked them to not use it in the room and got better.

Wonderful room. Let us check in early. Excellent restaurant. Gave us so much good food at lunch, we weren’t hungry for dinner. The restaurant overlooks the river. Overall, great place. Staff were the best. Room was spotless.

Alex was great. The location was fantastic! The Sagrada Familia is a block away. There is a Mercadona two blocks away. The area is quiet. It's close to the metro and taxi stand.

Location is great, right in the heart of Madrid. The staff is nice and I appreciated the little thoughts left on my door. Also there is a terrace with free bar 24/7.

Very good location in the heart of the old town. We were able to get a nice breakfast across the street at the corner cafe.

The shower/ toilet room was very small. Bring your own soap. The host had a very strong air freshener in use that we had to put away or leave.

Decor and furnishings did not feel to be of great quality. Whenever the property was renovated it just wasn't done very well. I also booked this property because of the rooftop bar and pool. Weather was not great during my stay for me to use the pool but it was good enough to have a drink yet the bar was not open. Service in the downstairs bar was not great. Overall not good value for the price paid
