Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

Everything about it was great. The rooms are spacious, clean and are nicely decorated. It is very close to the beach (a few minutes walk) and it also has a good parking lot if you travel by car. The host is very very nice. She helped us a lot with everything we needed. She even upgraded our room because it was the end of the season and there were vacant rooms available. I would highly recomand staying here if you are visiting Paros!

the place is BEAUTIFUL! Ioanna and Kostas are such sweethearts. we were sooo pleased with our stay. the room is cleaned everyday and the hosts are always available if we need anything. i think this is my favourite stay ever!!

We were given a different room then booked. It was bigger, but not on the highest floor which meant we could hear other guests upstairs moving furnitures/using their terrace. Tip for improvement: we were given beach towels 2 days before we left. Would have been better to already receive it on day 1. Shower was very small.
Very tastefully furnished studios with a small kitchenette. Spotless clean and 2 min walk to a beautiful quiet beach and cliffs for a walk. Free parking.

The shower was a little bit too small.
Overall we had a lovely time staying in this apartment. The place is well decorated with lots of room and is tidied every morning which is great. It’s also in a perfect location by being close to the beach and to local supermarkets. The owner Kostas was extremely kind and helpful and went out of his way to make our stay more enjoyable which we really appreciated. Would definitely recommend this apartment.

The host was really amazing. She was very kind and willing to help you with any thing. She helped us find the best beaches, restaurants and car rental. The room was excellent, it has 2 balconies which you can switch during the day for the shade.

We loved our stay at Kostas & Joanna studios. Amazing location close to the beach. Amazing, welcoming, friendly host, she helped us with renting a scooter and finding the best places on paros. The rooms were very clean, everything you need in the kitchen.

We stayed for 9 days here. Kostas was so helpful and nothing was a problem. It is a few mins walk to two beautiful beaches and Piso Livadi about 10 mins walk with beautiful restaurants there and a good selection in Logarus. We will definitely be back. Thank you Kostas and Ioanna.

None - everything was perfect.
The accommodation has exceeded our expectations. Nice and comfy rooms with great beds and a big balcony for a glas of wine in the evening. Beds are comfortable and big enough, everything is clean and if you want (we didn't) you can prepare your own meals in the kitchen, which has everything you need in there. Kosta is such a nice and courteous host :) It felt like visiting friends from the first moment of our arrival. (Thank you for having us!!) Only 2 minutes to the beach and 5 minutes to the better restaurants or supermarkets. So great location as well.
