My only criticism is the location on Google maps - it is currently wrong and makes the place very hard to find. It's also quite hard to access by car, scooter is definitely preferable and even then, the roads are quite bad. But trust me, it's worth it once you get there - absolute paradise! And amazing value - we will DEFINITELY be back

This place is absolute heaven, probably the best place weve stayed during our stay in Bali/Nusa Penida. The staff were superb, Eka was excellent and Mayu was superb, I cannot rate this place high enough. The cabins are an absolute dream, the swimming pool is heaven, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. If you only stay in 1 place in Nusa Penida, make sure it's this one!! ❤️

The road to the Villas is really bad whether you walk, drive motorbike or car. Definitely not suitable for any disability or pregnancy. The mosquito net was a bit short as it didn't cover the whole bed, leaving 1 or 2 gaps either behind us and side, or front of us and side. I would make sure to have enough size on it to easily cover the whole bed to truly avoid all bugs. AC was bugging a bit on day 1 (of 2) but fixed for our last night. Having to go to lobby for cold water every single time you crave cold water (it's a very warm weather even at night...) is definitely not great. The water from their machine isn't even proper cold. Should have a mini-bar in the room.

Beautiful property. Staff was very polite and available. The food was Ok, just the pizza a bit chewy and too much tomato sauce. Pasta was nice. Breakfast was good. Pool was nice, quiet, and clean. They gave us a ride back to the harbor for free, thus 1 extra point for them. The private boat tour for snorkeling was amazing. Overall, our stay was pleasant but some details don't allow us to give a 10/10. Perhaps if they improve on those. We would probably be back in the future.

The only point is that the roads to get there are very bumpy (but that's not uncommon in the whole island). Also, watch your steps, there is many caterpillars and other bugs, but just remember that you are in the middle of the jungle, so it's basically their home :)

We had a wonderful stay, the houses are surprisingly confortable and everything is spotless. The staff are super welcoming and friendly, would definetely go back!

Whilst the location itself is beautiful, it's right on top of a mountain. Meaning to go anywhere you need to hire a taxi, but given the honeymoon vibe of the place that's not too much of a concern. The resort occasionally had electricity issues, but the staff were quick to resolve them.

The location is absolutely stunning and being in nature for a couple nights was so relaxing. The staff are top quality, with special thanks to Mayu for making our stay the best it could have been and for accommodating all of our requests - she's a star.

It was all great. Very bumpy road to get there though.

Mayu and the team couldn't do enough to make us comfortable. Arranging lifts to port, sorting us out with a really great little motorbike. And the place! It is so beautiful, all made from bamboo, really eco. You're in the jungle, so expect a few bugs but - wow, so worth it.

The property is gorgeous-beautifully maintained and the surroundings are so peaceful. Both Eka and Mayu were very helpful-through WhatsApp you can easily ask questions and order meals directly to your room. They answer almost instantly and are very accommodating. I had a flower bath that I preordered ready in my suite when I arrived which was so nice to soak in after the ferry ride. I definitely recommend staying here for the afternoon/evening prior to touring the island the next day—the location is 15min from the port you come in on the ferry which is convenient and it is a very quiet, rainforest area.

The road between the accommodation and the main road, it truly needs some love, hard to ride. Also, the first day upon arrival I ordered food while we were waiting to check-in. The food tasted delicious, however, a couple of hours later I was sick with bali belly. Thankfully I recovered in a couple of days.

The bamboo rooms are simply brillant, gorgeous, very comfy, clean, amazing view. We loved everything about them. The view, the pool, how quiet everything was. Exceptional staff: Mayu and Eka were oh so helpful, thoughtful and extremely responsive. They are lovely and they went above and beyond to make our stay as memorable and pleasant as possible. Sadly I got bali belly shortly after arriving and after having eaten at the hotel, but during that time, Mayu and Eka were super thoughtful and nice, asking me if I needed anything, how I was feeling, etc. I really felt taken care of, they really cared so much.

before you make a reservation here, please be aware that you will be living in a jungle. so the nights will be pretty loud (because of the animals) and there will be a lot of insects (i mean: a lot!). if it suits you - you will spend here a great time. if you are not ready for this, better give up.

it’s really a treasure hotel and worth-being here at least once in your life. the houses are totally made of bamboo. the hotel is in the heart of the jungle. in every room you have an upstairs floor with a net, when you can chill out and admire the view (on a volcano also). it’s the perfect place for an escape and a deep relaxation. also, the staff here is very, very helpful - they always make sure if you have anything you need. big thanks to a mayu - you’re totally the best and make our stay very comfortable and pleasant!

Be aware that the upper part of the villa doesn’t have a window/door so basically you are not totally isolated from the outside. The ac works ok but because of the lack of all walls, the cold is lost. We had a small incident, for both nights, at 4am there was something that was eating the villa bamboo, it could have been a rat or a geko, no idea. The stair provided in the villa is not as in the picture, it is straight and pretty uncomfortable. Also, keep in mind you are in the middle of the jungle and it is a lot of noise hearing from outside (roosters/ insects/ frogs etc)

The villa is in the middle of the jungle, having amazing views. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is also good. The toilet is all out which is tricky when the sun is burning or is raining (we were unable to use the toilet when heavy raining)

There are quite a few bugs around which can be a little “inconvenience” with the outdoor bathroom but we wouldn’t complain. If you book an accomodation in the jungle, expect certain bugs and things to be present. It’s part of the experience. Same goes with the road leading into the property. It’s not a perfectly paved road like you would find in the city but again, it’s the jungle!

This is the most incredible place we have ever stayed. Located in what feels like the heart of a jungle, but only a short scooter ride into town, with access to plenty of bars and cafes. If you didn’t want to leave the property they have a great menu with lots of vegetarian options. Our favourite part was sitting on the upstairs hammock, reading, as we watched the wildlife in the trees around us. The staff were incredibly lovely and thoughtful, making our anniversary special with a complimentary flower bath and coming out with umbrellas after getting stuck in a huge downpour. We felt like they genuinely cared for us during our stay and can’t wait to come back here again one day.
