Booking.com failed to explain check in would be at Oslo Hotel located other spot in Coimbra. GPS to coordinates given are not accessible by car. One must walk with bags and climb streets or steps.

Contact person Lidia was charming and helpful. Once we overcame complicated parking and checkin we loved our location.

The 5 floors of stairs to climb would be difficult for people with mobility issues.

Excellent location in downtown Coimbra. The staff at Hotel Oslo who manage the check-in process were extremely helpful - escorted us through the streets to the apartment and helped us search for a misplaced cellphone.

We recently stayed at this charming apartment in the historic district, and it was a lovely experience. The apartment is beautifully designed and located in a quiet area, perfect for a peaceful stay. Despite the rain, I could see the potential of the patio and garden, which I'm sure are wonderful in better weather. The kitchen was also excellent, well-equipped for cooking. I highly recommend this apartment for anyone looking for a comfortable and tranquil retreat in the heart of the city.

With that convenience came nearly constant noise from “musicians” using portable amplifiers at excessive volume.

To note: Steep hill and stairs for people with mobility issues. We didn't have a problem. Didn't like the tiny outside space. New, colourful chairs would help. Wasn't very inviting.

Great, friendly staff!! The apartment was large and clean. Nice bathroom with good shower, plenty of fluffy towels. Two windows looking out onto a pretty street. Shutters kept out most of the noise. Kitchen had everything you need. Bed was comfortable. Lovely neighbourhood with lots of restaurants and cafes. Close to the river. Within walking distance to the University and botanical gardens. Would stay here again.

The staircase is not friendly for the elders, but since its in the historical street, its understandable.

The location of the property is very central and the receptionist was nice and friendly. Very effecient. They took us to the property by walk and guide us how to park the car, send us useful infomation about the visit. Room was nicely prepared, AC truned on and felt 'home' when walked in the property.

Great views. Comfortable beds/ seating. Wonderful friendly young women helped us to get up the 5 flights to our room as no lift. Very well appointed Parking not in site but easy Great location

The description of the property I booked stated that there would be 3 different views—landmark, city and one other type of view I can’t remember. The apartment we were given had no views and was dark. It was nice and clean but we were not given the apartment I booked. Disappointing.

Nothing! No elevator on site, but the staff will happily carry up your luggages, even without asking.

Incredibly charming and comfortable apartment, perfectly located. No manned reception on site, but the staff of hotel Oslo, who manage the apartment, are kind, knowledgeable and perfectly helpful!

The apartment is overlooking another building over the street, A bed in a smaller room is rather narrow and small for an adult.

The apartment is in center located, clean and spacious enough for two people, with everything needed for a comfortable stay, has a very convinient system of locks. Has conditioners for heating or cooling if needed, is cleaned everyday if the opposite is not asked.

the breakfast place recommended at the bottom of the apartments was still closed at 9.50 despite sign saying it was open and the recommendation. Between the arrival time and getting in is a long (and somehow painful: 5th floor with luggage just for one night is hard) process that we did not really got when booking. It was not a problem for us at that time, but it could be for many situations and travellers if time and physical efforts are involved. It should be really emphasised at booking. Just in case.

It was adequate and cosy for our group. Remarkable rehabilitation for such a space :)

The apartment is clean, modern, well equipped and good location. Hotel staff went to the apartment with us when we arrived on the first day. Shes very nice and gave a brief introduction of the town to us.

The road to the hotel, we dont know if car cant go until the apt, we need to walk within 10mnts fm the their main hotel. The hotel in the old town location so we need to bring luggage & climb the staircase (but hotel is very good arrange the staff to assist). We stay there of 3 days 2 night, the heater is not really warm (we go winter time) so we couldnt really sleep well at night as too cold.

This is a super charming apartment in the HEART of Coimbra! We really liked this place from its decoration to the facilities themselves. Everything was clean and convenient. The location is simply perfect and you can park your car about 5min away (walking distance). The check-in is actually done at Hotel Oslo but that’s not a problem! The staff was incredibly nice and helpful! The code for the doors worked perfectly and the beds were comfortable and the shower amazing! There is a little terrace outside and a bigger one upstairs which is really amazing when the weather is nice and warm!

The apartment was in a great location and very clean and comfortable. However, the team of people who worked there were absolutely wonderful and kind which was the highlight. Daniela and Ilsa responded to everything within minutes and I unfortunately got sick when I was there and they even checked to see if I was ok. I highly recommend this property.
