The only surprise was that there was not an elevator to get to the fifth floor which meant that a good level of fitness was needed to climb the stairs. It would be convenient if Booking.com displayed in which floor the apartment is located, and advice if there's not an elevator.

Our two bedroom apartment was located in the historical center with easy access by foot to the main sites such as the famous Coimbra university and the medieval Cathedral. The apartment was on the top floor of an old building but was beautifully renovated. It was charming as it was an attic type of apartment with a smart distribution of the spaces and a modern kitchen and bathroom. The hotel staff was very kind and friendly and helped us take the luggage up to out our apartment.

Being in the centre of a pedestrian area with many stairs and steep roads, it is a bit hard to reach if you have lots of luggage, but the staff at the Hotel where the parking is are ready to help. Also the building has no lift and staircase is quite narrow.

Really clean and charming property in the centre of Coimbra. Perfectly located for all amenities and with super friendly staff willing to help at all times!

If you have lots of luggage, I don’t recommend staying here as you will have to drag luggage 250 meters and then climb 3 flights of stairs.

The matress was bad i would invest in a top up matress to make the bed more comfartable

We stayed in apartment 1.1 it was big it had washing machine dishwasher stoves air condition in both rooms. We didnt use it it was quite cool during the day.

Appartment is located in the beautufull old center of Coimbra, in vicinity there are many cafes and restaurants and it is very easy to reach the University buildings from there. App is big enough, comfortable, clean and very nicely decorated, great view from the small balcony and hidden garden on the back side. I understand the same owner also runs nearby hotel Oslo, so you check in in the hotel and you can also store luggage there if needed. All personel is very kind and helpfull!

We had trouble finding it on our google maps. We weren’t told to check in at the Oslo hotel which caused us to waste a lot of time and energy but this was eventually sorted and the rest of the stay was fantastic.

The decor was beautiful. It was comfortable and conveniently located. The staff were very kind and helpful.

The location was EXCELLENT! Just don’t use GPS to find the apartment if you’re driving. Have the hotel Oslo staff show you the way. We’ll stock and lots of space. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Rita and the blonde woman at hotel Oslo reception (sorry I did not get your name!) we’re both fabulous and friendly.

Generally, when you are out of country and home, you are searching for zone for best staying. It was amazing experience staying in Entre Ruas apartment. The staff were brilliant, from the very first meeting one of our host explained everything not only about the apartment, abut the whole city. Ricardo, our host was very attentive. He was very helpful during our stay. The apartment honestly exceeded our expectations. Location is really superb.

Parking nearby is challenging. Fortunately we were able to use the parking garage at Hotel Oslo, however, it took a few minutes to walk there.

No complaints! A bedside lamp for the second bedroom would be helpful.

The location was fabulous - right in the heart of the old town, full of charm, character, cafés. But so well insulated - double glazed, with shutters too - that it was quiet and calm. The kitchen had everything one might need. There was a desk to write at.

The apartment was really nice and cozy, clean, modern and well maintained, and fit just right for myself, my husband and our toddler. The staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful, and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The location is right at the center of old town Coimbra, walking distance or a short taxi drive from all the main attractions. Keep in mind though that the street is a pedestrian street and is not accessible by car, except for late at night or early in the morning.

It's not really a negative, but it's worth noting that the climb up the stairs to the upper floors is an exercise in itself.

Beautifully renovated old building in the center of Coimbra. Very well equipped and very comfortable. The apartment in which we stayed was huge and had access to the garden. The apartments were serviced every day (if you weren't inside at the time) by a very friendly team.

Check in was a bit challenging you have to go to the hotel, pick up the keys and park and then walk 10 minutes to get to the apartment. Pack lightly.
