I arrived at the hotel at 8 PM and the check-in should be at 3 PM similarly to all hotels, and I already informed the team about my arrival time, but I was surprised that the room was not ready and I wait for more than 1 hour to check-in.

check in was very slow and room was not ready I received my room after 4.30 pm we were group of friend 5 families and 4 families received the rooms after 4.30 pm and 1 family at 3.30pm and the receptionist select compensation breakfast due to delay to one or two families and don't offer for the rest of group!

Everything was great but I wished the staffs could be more helpful. We inquired on the cable car. The staff on duty just gave us a flat "no, don't know" and that's it. No trying to get the information for us or checking it out for us. Also, after checking out and collecting our luggages, we requested the staff on duty to arrange cab or transport to airport. The staff on duty, just told us, " sorry, you have to get a cab yourself. We don't arrange for you. You can walk to the main road or mall and hail a cab. I asked the staff to book any car as I do not have any app to book but the staff still give a flat no and insisted we walk out to hail a cab ourselves. We walk all the way to the Mall and frantically looking for cab as we were running late to catch our flight. It took some time and we finally managed to get a car to drive us back to the hotel to get our luggages and then drive us to the airport in time for our flight. In all my travels, never had I encountered a hotel who asked the guest to find a cab themselves. All hotels so far were able to either book a taxi or arrange a private car.for us.

Room was very spacious and clean. Wifi is strong. Breakfast was nicely setup with quite a variety of options. Arabic coffee with dates as well as infused lemon water provided at lobby. Hotel is conveniently located. There is a mall few mins away and lots of shops few mins walk away. The old town and Ibnu Abbas mosque is around 20 to 30 mins walk away.

There was a service door/window from the room to the ventilation system, which was hidden by a big picture on the wall, yet noise from the ventilation system was still coming through. The bathroom is somewhat aged, but the room is in a good condition. Overall, from the perspective of a European, a bit expensive for what it is.

Good location, just behind the Shubra Palace and downtown is a good 15-minute walk from the hotel. There is also a shopping mall close by with a big supermarket. Breakfast is simply, but with a good choice.

Breakfast really was very basic and not great at all. The carpark basement is tiny and not easy to get in and out. Avoid school hours because there were loads of children around midday and got so dangerous trying to get out of a steep hill basement.

Clean and spacious, staff very friendly and helpful. Location was good once you know where you are. There is a lot of nice places to visit around and Taif was a nice city to visit too.

No Microwave. Since this hotel is within City, it takes longer to go Sail Kabeer Meeqat. If you want, you can go to Al Hada Meeqat but that is not preferred for 4x4s.
