Although the beds and bathroom were clean, the walls, floors and light switches in the guest rooms were very dirty.

I cannot complain. If someone wants a fancy room, go to one of the big chain hotels and not this old-fashioned hotel. I turned out to be perfect for me as I do not see well at night.

I attended the Harry Potter event. The cars were directed out of the park that eventually took me right to the hotel (King St). I was so relieved! The breakfast was a total surprise. I could order directly from the breakfast menus so I got a healthy omlete and coffee -- but I could have order anything from the breakfast menu. I was expecting coffee and donuts!

We had 3 rooms, one of the rooms had cardboard up to the window because it was broken. At least it was a high window so no one could get in.

Room is a bit dark, areas of hotel are very dated --could be upgraded very inexpensively. Our room was directly over the bar with music. Good news is the music was excellent (NOLA jazz) and ended promptly by 10 pm.

Excellent value -- great location, nice quaint room and excellent breakfast included in room rate. Friendly staff. Good music in attached bar. Cute ourdoor seating at restaurant.

Staff were great, very helpful. The complimentary breakfast was a 10. You could order from a diverse menu. And it was delicious. The room was very clean except for a dirty throw rug which I had them remove. There was no elevator so I had to carry my suitcase up a large flight of stairs. There was no parking so I had to use the public lot behind the hotel and carry my suitcase up and down the stairs from there as well. I’m retired and a great grandmother so this was difficult. Luckily I’m in good shape.

I neded the room to be just a bit warmer and I guess the thermostats could not be adjusted by the couple of degrees. Again, somthing I'll know for the next visit.

I'm sorry I had to leave too early to enjoy the breakfast - next time. The Lentil soup in the bar the night before was excellent, It was a fun place to visit. I enjoyed reading about the Inn's history even though I'm familiar with Leesbug. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially because I had not stayed there before.

It is a little confusing on where to check in which is a little booth in between the bar and the dining room.

The main benefit of this hotel is it’s central location in the city. All the other hotels are out by the highway in general. This is a great location to be able to walk around the city, shop, have a nice dinner and a great dessert at the ice cream store down the street. The breakfast and the service were fine.

Breakfast was good although I was slightly irked that it wasn't included in our fare. I don't remember having the option to choose between breakfast or no breakfast. Location was great. We chanced upon a concert and a party in a speakeasy.

Negative: hair on bathroom floor upon arrival, loose toilet seat (I fixed quickly and easily enough by hand-tightening screws) 2 cracks in windows, dim lighting, towel rack was bent, VERY THIN WALLS. A few minor fixes like adding another lamp, replacing window panes and being sure everything is cleaned would have made this a completely positive stay.

Positive: A/C nice and cool, clean tub, plenty of towels, comfy pillows, bed/mattress was adequate, staff was friendly, and I wasn't disturbed when I needed privacy.
