To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

United States of AmericaThe check in clerk was a rude and dismissive so I ask to speak to the manager and he sorted everything out.
The location and the owners suite were amazing. The room had an amazing bathtub and shower and kitchen so I could make my favorite matcha in the morning. I loved that the valet car parking was included in the cost of the room.

The suite was clean, modern and beautiful. The staff was great and we had prompt friendly service at check in and the valet. Loved the convenience of walking to the shops/restaurants and casino at the Cosmo and Bellagio without ever having to leave the building. The center strip location was perfect.

United States of AmericaWhen we tried to check-in the property could not find the specific room that my reservation was made for. They said it was for a private unit and that Booking didn't provide enough information to check me in. They also had ME call booking to call to the property to figure it out. Booking said it was the property's fault and the property said it was Booking's. Either way, we wasted a bunch of time at the front desk. In the end, I didn't provide any additional information.

United States of AmericaIt is a studio apartment! There is no separate bedroom, it is one single area without. The description on booking implies there is a separate bedroom with a double bed and a living room with a sofa. They are the same room!!!, a bed right next to the sofa. Additionally, the "Free valet parking" means you you must use the valet and tip. There is no self parking.
Good location. Good for a couple (max 2 people). Quiet. It has every basic necessities you usually expect.
