We visited seven museums and art galleries. Transport was easy using a 72 hour pass which covered bus, tram and metro. The weather was sunny and warm. the hotel is outside of the city so there is no choice of eating out in the evening. During the day there are plenty of open air cafes in the city.

Stockholm is fantastic, there is so much to explore!
Stockholm is fantastic, there is so much to explore! The museums, cultural sites and old town are all within a very small area so it is easy to explore, but the city itself stretches much further out. Now that I have been there a few times, I enjoy exploring different neighborhoods where the locals live. I love to swim at the many beaches in the summer, when the sun stays up until 11 pm and rises very early! It is super easy to get around on public transit and there are tons of restaurants and cafes to choose from. I am allergic to gluten and it is easy to find allergy-friendly food.

Beautiful old town, Skansen with all scandinavian animals,...
Beautiful old town, Skansen with all scandinavian animals, old swedish houses, and people wearing clothes from XIX century, telling about life in that times. Fantastic amusement park - Grona Lund (not only for children :)). Vasa Museum is also an unforgetable experience. I would like to come back to Junibacken - Astrid Lidgren museum. Get on The Story Train and dive straight into the magical world between the pages of books. You’ll meet Madicken, Emil, Karlsson and the others on an enchanting journey between the Swedish summer of fairytales and stories and the roaring Karma Falls. Fabulous, exciting and a little sad – exactly as it should be.

We found Stockholm to be a clean safe city with easily accessible parks and waterfront. The public transportation system was excellent and easy to navigate.
One of best days was spending time on the downtown boardwalk followed by a harbour cruise.

Bad quality of bedsheets need to pay 60.
Bad quality of bedsheets need to pay 60. Uncomfortable and noisy place. Can't trusted if you just leave your clothes under your bed. I was lost. It happened to me, the receptionist told me he asked the cleaner but nothing. So disappointed. I will not stay there again. No! No!. Anyway , thank you.

Beautiful city with lots of places to visit and activities,...
Beautiful city with lots of places to visit and activities, the food is simply amazing, once of the finest cuisines in Europe.
People are polite and friendly and the city is safe. One of my favorite places to visit.
We spent 2 nights at the hotel and it has all recommendations from our side. The receptionist staff will give you all instructions if you arrive out of the working hours. We had a clear and accurate instruction for entering the hotel. The food was delicious with a wide range of products. We really enjoyed it! The location is very close to the old city and you can reach it in less than 10 minutes. The staff is kind and always at your disposal. I will choose again this hotel if I come to Stockholm. All the best and keep doing a good job!
This was one of the best hotel stays I’ve ever had. The staff were more than friendly and accommodating. The food served for breakfast and dinner was very lovely. we were able to check in early, which took a lot of stress away from us and extended our travels. The room was very clean and organized with a very nice shower. The hotel is also located next to a mall which is very convenient. I would highly recommend this hotel to anybody and if I shall return to Stockholm, I will stay here again.
The best thing about the hotel is its location. It was right bext to central train and bus station. We preferred bus travelling to the airport by the way. The concept of the hotel was very contemporary and a true representation of swedish design philosophy. The beds were vey comfortable. The staff were very pleasant people, and they were very polite and helpful. I have experienced many radisson hotels around the world, and this was the best one by far. Thanks again…
Stayed for 5 nights and the hotel was outstanding, one of the best we have ever been to! The spacious double room was beautiful, and the staff were kind enough to leave a fruit platter as I had informed them it was my partner’s birthday during our stay!! We had breakfast one morning and it was definitely worth the money, lots of options to choose from and tasted delicious!! We would definitely stay at Downtown Camper again if ever find ourself in Stockholm again
The hotel location is excellent (20 minute walk to Gamla Stan and the city center). It is located on the main shopping street, which is a bonus if you plan to do a lot of shopping, and a con if you hate crowds.
Despite being on a busy street, it was rather quiet at night, once everything closes.
Many thanks to the staff for giving me a street-facing room when asking for it from the start.
Breakfast is great, lots of options to choose from.
Beautiful hotel with excellent breakfast.
Perfect for those who enjoy museums and fresh air. Friendly staff. Excellent transportation with busses, trams and the very scenic commuter boats. There are nice restaurants around but not as many as in the absolute city centre. Within a ~ 5 minute walk there are 7 of Stockholm's best museums. Wasa ship, Viking, Wreck, Liljevalchs art, Skansen and ABBA museum.
Attached to a "deli" which was really more like a huge upscale market. Breakfast served a buffet from this market so the food was fantastic - some of the best pastries I've ever had at a hotel breakfast. Rooms had a really cool typically sleek Scandinavian design without being too basic or "Ikea"ish. The deli's work/meeting space was the hotel's lobby so there was a cute tech/creative vibe.
I travelled with my sister who values comfort a lot. The hotel is simply one of the best in Stockholm - it is perfectly located, has an amazing friendly staff, clean and comfy rooms, delicious breakfast and has all necessary facilities (restaurant, gym, etc). Moreover, the hotel is sustainable which is great!
I would definitely stay here during my next trip - LOVE IT!
This boat hotel offers a nice alternative for stays at the heart of Stockholm. From there you can walk through the city center, or take a metro at the subway station located 5 minutes away. Inside, you really feel like taking part to a nordic exploration of a century ago. You only occasionally feel the boat gently heaving. Breakfast is good.
Great location in Gamla Stan. Close to everything in Gamla Stan (including short walk to metro and ferry stops, 10 minute walk to Stockholm Central Station) but far enough away from the "busy" streets of Gamla Stan to not get too loud. Hotel and room have a well-done nautical theme. Friendly/helpful staff.
It's exactly what I usually get in a Best Western hotel. The room was a bit more spacious than I expected.
There was a minibar fridge, which was a good surprise.
Very good breakfast.
Daily housekeeping was great.
Excellent value for the price if you are going for a short stay at Stockholm.
Really nice hotel in a lovely area of Stockholm. Breakfast was absolutely great, extensive and fresh. The room was good and clean too. Had the best Carbonara ever across the street at La Dolce Vita restaurant. Also super convenient that the metro stop is right at the corner.
really nice hotel in the best neighborhood of Stockholm
the room was perfect and the breakfast is awesome
(you can have it in a cute terrace). so close to a lot of
cool restaurants, metro station, shopping area and the
highlights of the city
When attending an event at the Stockholmsmässan it is the best option, especially in winter and if you don't like the cold.
One of the best breakfasts I have had at a hotel.
Very comfortable beds.
Great staff!
One of the best breakfasts I have had in a hotel that is considered to be low-mid budget for a place like Stockholm, for that reason alone it should be recommended to anyone.
Room was large and comfortable. Hotel was right near train station and short 10 minute walk to Gamla Stan. Staff very helpful even suggested items to do on checkout day.
