The room, bathroom and overall environment was very clean and the location was great. The staff are friendly even though they don't really speak that much English. And their restaurant has good food.

We had a perfect stay in this apartment. It is the ideal solution for families and groups of friends; we were 4 adults and 4 children, and we had a great time. The apartment is very spacious, new, tastefully furnished, and spotlessly clean. The kitchen is well-equipped. We chose it as a base to visit Munich, taking advantage of the two parking spaces included. In a few minutes on foot, you can reach the Dachau station, from which you can be in the heart of Munich (Marienplatz) in 20 minutes by train. Right in front of the house, there is a well-stocked supermarket and a pharmacy, open until 8 PM. Everything was perfect!
Featuring a shared living area and free Wi-Fi, this hostel in the woodlands of Dachau offers luggage storage, a bistro bar, and spacious canteen. Dachau Old Town is a 20-minute drive away.

perfect location if you have a car or if you want to reach the main train station to go to Muenich (20 minutes on foot or less by bus). Spotlessly clean. Helpful and nice personnel. Great breakfast and lunch.

Dachau is too small to stay in for the night or nights ...
Tour of the prisoner camp was usefull ... Tour guides are distorting the facts making Germany alot worse .. it was a prisoner camp .... during wars ... facts no more or less.
Touring children or students is not a good idea ... it is a horrible idea to be introduced to violance at that age ... ...
The castle was a great spot ... the old town ... need better infrastructure ...
Food was merely to meet the hunger ... busses are available ... routes are confusing in such a small place .
One time visit is more than enough.

Dachau is the place where the very first Nazi Concentration Camp has been built. It was an example camp for all other concentration camps within Nazi-Germany. I think every person should once visit Dachau or a different concentration camp city to understand in what luxury we live today and how cruel humans can be during times of war. And of course also to pay respect to all the victims from the Nazi era.
What I also liked was the public transportation within Dachau. It is simple to get around. Especially the proximity to Munich is great.

Dachau is a historical town on the suburbs of Munich and is easily reached by public transport.
Like virtually every German town it is clean and safe.
I would recommend a visit to the Altstadt and the memorial to those who lost their lives in the concentration camp.

Unfortunately the owners of the restaurant in the front of...
Unfortunately the owners of the restaurant in the front of the same building as the pension do not like the owners of the pension. So we got an earful twice by them because we were asking them questions.
Olympia owners were not on site and left no specific guidelines for us/the guests. It was dark when we arrived and there was no sign outside to tell us where the pension was. So we asked the restaurant owners. They are sick of all the questions from people about the pension since they are not the owners of the pension.
We finally saw that there was an 8 x 10 piece of paper on a door at the back of the building identifying it as Olympia.
So we went up the steps and saw that there were numbers on doors and keys hanging in the doors, but we had no clue which one was ours. And, calling out for someone got no response.
So, we started opening doors & found one that fit what we requested, so started to settle in. About 20 to 30 minutes later someone knocked on our door who could barely speak English and had no clue why we were there. She never identified herself but appeared to possibly be a cleaning lady. She got a man to help with English, which was only some better. They placed a phone call to the owners, whom we had tried to call three times - from the number in our confirmation email. We found out that the number was for the restaurant, & they just said “wrong number”.
The phone resulted in us being told we were in the wrong room & they moved us. It was frustrating and unnecessary for two travelers who were already very weary from a long, long trip.
We did get food at the Hot Spot restaurant at the front of the building, and it was very good. The people were kind to us but very vocal and unhappy about the owners of the pension.
The bus line was close and worked for us. We were only in Dachau to spend the night and keep moving.

We stopped in Dachau then on to Austria to meet up with family, but tried to stay longer but they were booked and no wonder, wonderful place to stay - so accomodating - loved the people - so helpful in every way - loved the train but if you never traveled in Germany - people offer their help - you may need it
Great air condition which can be regulated and switched off (to reduce fan noise during the night in the room).
Easy and comfortable parking.
Great service: coffee machine with pads available in room (well, very usual in the US and other countries but not in Germany ...).
Bar was open till late in the evening.
I arrived after reception was closed, but it was easy to get into the building with your room key that was provided with the code. The breakfast in the morning was great and the staff were very accommodating. Great price and great location the Dachau concentration memorial site is less then 5 minutes away.
This is the second time we visited this hotel by our family and it was still excellent.
Main points:
- spacious and clean new rooms
- great location
- parking availability (10 euros per night)
- mobile check-in
- comfortable beds
- nice breakfast
- pets allowance (15 euros per night)
Hotel appeared to brand new and very modern high spec. Large room with two full length glass windows overlooking apartments and green space. Really impressive modern hotel. Extremely affordable prices. Underground parking was €10 per day. Nearby restaurants and cafes in Dachau.
Very clean number and delicious breakfast. Location of the hotel is also very good, Dachau Concentration Camp is near - only a few minutes away by car. Big and free parking zone near the hotel. If all parking slots are taken - there is a street nearby with free parking too.
The hotel is modern, very comfortable and clean. Onsite parking in the underground garage was a bonus. Located hear a bus stop that we utilized several times. Some restaurants and shops are within walking distance as is the Concentration Camp.
The apartment was perfect to accommodate 4 adults and 3 children. We had enough room to spread out and get comfortable. The location was close to everything we needed. It was only a short walk to the train station to get into Munich easily.
Very nice hotel. I ate here every night and the food was great. It was very near the Train station and was easy to go to Munich. Plenty of room outside to sit and eat or drink. The restaurant staff were lovely.
Set in a very quiet street, close to the pretty centre of Dachau, the hotel is a small family run business with small but adequate rooms, en suite facilities, and reasonable breakfast.
Breakfast was ok. Location is in a commercial area, plenty of space for cars, several discounters around. Ideal for commuting to Munich (with your own car) or stop-over with your bus.
