Had an amazing room that opened onto a large terrace which had a perfect view of Neuschwanstein - absolutely amazing and made the trip! We were budget travelers backpacking so we couldn’t spend too much money on a place but hotel mueller was still incredible - super clean and great facilities. The free buffet breakfast was delicious and the staff always went above and beyond and were very kind. Would 100% recommend for a stay in Neuschwanstein.
With some rooms offering wonderful views of the Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau castles, this traditional hotel is just a 5-minute drive from Füssen and the Austrian border.

Location was in the heart of the town and within walking distance of the information center and buses for the tour of Neuschwanstein. You could see the castle from the property.
This historic hotel is just a 2-minute walk from Schloss Neuschwanstein castle. It offers spacious rooms, great views of the Alps, and Bavarian food.

We loved the location! Neuschwanstein castle overlooked the hotel and it was a quick easy walk to visit it in the morning. Our room was lovely and included a sitting room. Being able to drive up so close to the castle and leave our car there was fantastic. We could look out window and see the castle. Really lovely.
Directly on the pedestrian zone in Füssen’s old town, this traditional hotel offers free WiFi. It is 500 metres from Füssen Train Station, and 4 km from Neuschwanstein Castle.

A very cosy place in the middle of beautiful nature. It felt like we went through a portal to slower and more historical age. Very cool place with calm atmosphere! Many hiking trails around, crystal clear lake literally in the yard. Perfect breakfast, eggs (boiled and pan cooked) cereal, many options for cheese, breads, veggies, fruits, juices, teas - and many more tiny details.
The sharable bathroom and toilet is not a problem, for every corridor there’s 2 of each. You also have a sink in your room, so it’s convenient.
Hotel Hotel San Marco with an on-site restaurant is located on the promenade of Hopfensee Lake, 5 km from Füssen town centre.

Wonderful view from room across lake to the Alps. Good sized room. Appreciated own room heater - it became chilly in the late eve!
Very good breakfast. Good supper at the hotel too
Private parking appreciated (if somewhat tricky access!)
Central location convenient for visiting the two castles.
Central location convenient for visiting the two castles. There is nothing there apart from a series of hotels and a few restaurants. Even so, much more conventient than staying further out and paying for parking etc.
For more amenties and activities apart form the castles try Fussen, 15 minutes away

This city is amazing and the people are so nice.
This city is amazing and the people are so nice. I had all good experiences during my stay in the area. The Castle Hohenschwangau is worth a visit as well. Most people just go to Neuschwanstein, but please visit the Hohenschwangau Castle as well. Do not eat at the Hotel Muller Bistro quick snack place. The Jumbo hot dog was terrible, and I had an ache in my stomach the rest of the day. Eat at one of the sit down restaurants!

Woman from reception was completely stressed out wich is unpleasant if you have just traveled so we didn't feel very welcome when checking in. After 17:00 not possible to eat anything. Bad WIFI and breakfast ( no fruit) that was not what you expect fir this price. Rooms did not have insulated walls. Perfect distance from the Neuschwanstein castle ( only 200 meters)

We only had one night here which had to fit into our other travel plans. Was a great experience and we will be back for at least 3 nights so we can do further mountains, hikes and cycling. The place has stunning vistas can highly recommend.

Fairy-tail castle build by a romantic young king in a fantastic location high-up in the Bavarian mountains and overlooking a lake surrounded by dense forest. It is a destination worth seeing, part Disney World (the castle itself), part reality (its location). Prior reading up on the historical facts is recommended, though. Visits are well organized, but generally require some waiting for busses and scheduled tours. The physically fit can hike up, instead, but everything has its price, including parking.

Hohenschwangau was a winter fairytale.
Hohenschwangau was a winter fairytale. We had gently falling snow for our stay in December and the township was lit up for Christmas. It was truly magical. We enjoyed the drive through the wintry countryside to get to this destination, one of the most beautiful drives with snow-laden trees and a snow cleared safe passage. Neuschwanstein Castle is a short walk or horse-drawn carriage ride free from the township. There is ample paid parking (10 Euros for a car) for those visiting the castle on a day trip. We dined on traditional Bavarian food a short stroll from our hotel whilst other members of our group dined at Hotel Muller. Service is exceptional. It is like the service providers in this township have made a collective pact to leave every visitor with the best and warmest memories to cherish. I will be telling everyone about this wonderful experience.
Beautiful hotel with countless carefully thought out details all tying to the castle and the area. You really feel immersed in the history of the area. Modern conveniences throughout while keeping the feel classic and romantic. Great spa facilities. On-site parking is clean and safe. Easy access from the garage with elevators throughout. Helpful, friendly staff. Views of the castles and other scenery throughout the hotel and from the rooms.
The room was a suite type and spacious enough . The staff was very kind to offer castle tickets for the next day, and we did not have to worry about the hassle to get into the castles. Dinner at the hotel was excellent, too .It was a shame that the crane for building the adjacent building blocked the view from both the room and the restaurant , but otherwise no complaints at all.
The location was excellent right in the heart of the castles. The ticket booth was right outside our door. A quaint little hotel with beautiful clean rooms. It was my son’s birthday and the staff were kind to provide some cake and light a birthday candle for him, even gave him a little souvenir. We were lucky to get a view of Neuschwanstein castle - beautiful!
Amazing place to stay if you love Neuschwanstein Castle like we do. The hotel can arrange for you to buy tickets to the castle and that is great.
Spacious rooms with comfortable furnishings, a large bed with a bathtub in the room with a view of the castle and a balcony.
A very simple spa with saunas, but it will still be pleasant in the winter months.
I`m a fan of this wonderful place!
I can`t imagine my visit to Bavaria and stay in another hotel.
Here it is all the same wonderfully as on my first visit.
It is a quite lovely place close to the castle.
Here you will have a tasty breakfast and the ability to taste Bavarian cuisine in the restaurant.
Beautiful Hotel with a gorgeous view of the castle. Incredibly quiet and peaceful location, only noisy neighbors were the random goats that would be active around 4:00pm 😊 Helpful, knowledgeable staff. Very clean rooms. Very impressive breakfast buffet for such a small hotel.
I booked this place for convenience... excellent location for going two the Kings Castles, easy in-and-out parking available (extra cost but discounted) across the hotel, and breakfast included. It was a decent value when I was looking for hotels in the area and Fussen.
Everything was great. Very welcoming receptionist, easy parking, super room (with a room and real bed for the kids), splendid view on the castle, water in the room. Great restaurant in the hotel for the evening and splendid breakfast. In a word waouh!
Proxomity to castle and private drive and car parking near top of hill ...worth it. .The breakfast was wholesome and filling ... would stay again. Room sizes were small therefire for three of us- wife, son and husband, required two rooms. Cheers
I love this hotel which is central location for the attraction and free parking. Hotel Muller is elegant hotel serving dinner and breakfast both are good.
The staffs are very friendly and help us ordering the tickets for both castles.
Within minutes of the castle. Exceptional and friendly staff. Very clean and charming. Restaurant was also exceptional. Free parking adjacent to the Hotel and was free. Great value….
Amazingly nice hotel owners 💝
Lovely rooms with a view of Noišvanšteinan Castle 🏰
Excellent hotel location ✨
Comfortable bed with natural down in pillows and blankets 🤗
The hotel is located in a very good place very near the Neuschwanstein castle and the bus stops to other towns. You can walk to the castle from the hotel.
