We always stay at the Days Inn Maidstone when we’re travelling through the tunnel. We live in the Midlands and it’s a perfect stopover for a nice early start. Parking is good and it’s never a problem to sort out food at the services. Not the Ritz I’ll admit but extremely useful and always comfortable with decent facilities.

Village Hotel Maidstone is just 100 metres from the River Medway. It is also just 5 minutes' drive from Maidstone's centre, with direct access to the M20 motorway.

Very comfortable beds, slept really well, good evening meal and very good breakfast. Even the coffee was great.!! Would highly recommend for an overnight en route to the shuttle. All the staff, from receptionist at check-in, waiting staff in restaurant (dinner & breakfast) to checkout staff were extremely friendly

The pub and rooms are set in a very quiet location, accessed by a single track road with passing places. The family room was really spacious even with the bunk beds. The wet room was a pleasant surprise as well. The actual pub is lovely as it’s been kept like an old Inn with hops hanging from the ceilings, old pictures and muskets hanging on the walls. All the staff were really friendly and helpful. The food was absolutely exceptional full marks to their chefs. We only stayed the one night but popped back for dinner after visiting the Peony Farm which is about a 6 minute drive away.

Lovely Georgian country house. The staff were friendly and in the main efficient and polite. They worked hard on a busy Valentine evening and we felt well looked after (But see below). Bed comfy and the restaurant food was very well presented and of a high quality. Drinks menu good and wine list reasonable and good overall.

breakfast was buffet and a good choice. my problem was with the restaurant on Saturday evening...we booked a table a week before they say we stayed.when we went to order(which you did at the bar) we looked at the 3 page menu and when we ordered they said we only have chicken curry and pizza(which turned out to be a frozen type like you but at cheap supermarket..when arived w said we had booked a table and when we came down they showed us to the restaurant But NOBODY mentioned about the lack of choice of food until we ordered.
