Looks nicely and recently refurbished. Very clean and lovely room decor with comfortable bed/cushions. Good breakfast options. Great central location however with that comes high street noise as the windows are single glazed sash, shame they weren't upgrade as part of refurbishment.

The house is very well equipped with all you need. The house is nicely decorated and in an excellent location. We especially appreciated the small terrasse as we had nice weather during our whole stay. Having three bathrooms was a real plus. The house is very close to the train line but as the train is not running very often and not during the night this is no issue at all. We appreciated our stay and would come back.

Great seaside town for lovers of fresh seafood, pubs, indie shops, stunning views of sea and coastal walks or cycling. Really close to Canterbury. Evening drinks and good watching sun set are a must/do - the Neptune pub full of character with amazing views.

Lovely little town with lots of independent shops and cafes.
Lovely little town with lots of independent shops and cafes. Harbour area was particularly pleasant although parking in this area was expensive. Plenty of town centre parking. We visited in April so the town was quite quiet but I imagine in the summer, it would be busy. Visited Whitstable Castle but not much to see or do there although the gardens were pretty.

We liked the wide choice of pubs and restaurants and cafes.
The local people helpful and friendly. We liked the art deco styling of The Peter Cushing pub and the drinks were the cheapest in Whitstable.
Interesting to read about the actor who used to live in one of the characterful houses on the seafront.

Whitstable is lovely although the hotel we stayed at isabove the Tankerton slopes that lead down to the beach at Tankerton. The beach is pebbles but clean. The town of whitstable is quaint with small independent shops. There is an excellent fish snd chip shop in the town Jones, although that is closing down soon. Plenty of lovely restaurants and coffee shops.
What a hidden gem… On arrival we were met by Anna who was friendly and welcomed us to the Suite.
5 star boutique hotel facilities, power shower, luxurious fluffy bathrobes and the finest bed linen, really comfortable bed, newly refurbished and immaculately clean.
Breakfast was absolutely delicious and a fantastic choice.
Beautifully sea views and attention to every detail. I can’t recommend highly enough. Thank you so much, will be back for longer next time ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Such an amazing find, our lovely host picked us from the train station when we arrived, then on the day we left brought our bags to the station so that we didn't have to carry them around and could spend a bit longer wandering around Whitstable. The property is so comfortable, everything you need and tastefully decorated with some lovely stylish touches. Loved this place and would be my first choice for a stay next time I'm in the area!
Central location, easy to park. Accommodation was clean and had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and the heating was easy to control for a pleasant night. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils etc. The location was great for travelling and we reached Herne Bay and Canterbury in 20 mins by car. A pleasant walk to the nearby Whitstable castle and gardens where there is a small cafe.
Excellent location, and impressive frontage, looking out onto the water. Huge bonus having ample free parking directly outside. Lovely conservatory for breakfast, that has appealing menu options. The biggest plus is being dog friendly - every staff member we met said hello to our pooch. Rooms are quite spacious compared to similar hotels.
My second time staying here with a friend, the location is superb for enjoying the beach and the shops and restaurants of Whitstable. Was able to use the hotel's overflow parking this time which was great. Room very clean and there was a Netflix account we could use which was nice as well as fresh milk for tea and coffee.
Very clean and neat. Well equipped. Excellent location. Very good to have parking space included, and that the parking was available for an hour before and an hour after check in / check out. The staff at the Hotel Continental (where we had to go to check in and collect our key card) were so so lovely!
LOVED IT, SELF SERVICE CEREAL/TOAST, BUTTER AND PRESERVE + BEVERAGES AND BOTTLE OF WINE AVAILABLE ON ARRIVAL AND REPLENISH BREAKFAST ITEMS WHEN NEEDED, COSY AND WARM WITH FAN HEATER IF EXTRA BOOST NEEDED. Fabulous that it was totally dog friendly with small enclosed outdoor area to let him out.
Aptly named “the Snug” is perfect for two and is in a wonderful location with good private parking. It is well-equipped and is close to a small selection of shops, the seafront and is a walkable distance, especially along the seafront, to Whitstable.
Beautiful and simple property with wonderful views. Fab location for the High Street, bars, cafés, and Whitstable Castle. Management and Hotel Continental staff at the end of the phone for help if and when needed. Added bonus of a parking space.
Stylish decorated and very comfortable hotel, with bar and restaurant, in the centre of Whitstable. Breakfest is impeccable. Very friendly service. Availability of (paying) short or long term parking nearby. Good bus connection to Canterbury.
I liked the location of the hotel, it is right between the Tankerton beach front and whitstable beach/town, so you can easily explore both sides of Whitstable. Our room was small but cosy and felt homely.
A delightful boutique hotel with wonderful views of Whitstable bay; fantastic sunsets. Really friendly attentive staff, nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was excellent, freshly cooked and delicious.
Everyone who worked here was so sweet, especially the restaurant team. The hotel has charm for days and a perfect location to view the water and to have a nice stroll to shops and restaurants
It was comfortable, clean and quiet.
There was some tea, coffee, milk , bread etc left which we had not expected. Parking was close and it was
Close to the beach.
Really like the friendly staff , and the nice atmosphere of the hotel, the location is perfect on the seafront .
The food is lovely cannot fault anything.
Near the beach. Lovely walk into Whitstable. Quietness and comfortable bed. Availability of good places to eat. Recommend Marine hotel for evening meal.
