The staff are amazing! Very friendly, helpful and always had a smile on their face. The facilities at the property (hot tub, suana and tennis court) are great. So relaxing to hop in the hot tub then suana after a day of hiking! I highly recommend staying here and I will be recommending family and friends to stay here.

Large, clean, comfortable airconditioned room. Bed also comfortable. A small private courtyard with table and chairs was nice but too rainy for us to use this time, it led to a larger area if needed. Very close to a Petrol station, shops and country Pub where we had dinner which was a very large serving, and I thought a good variety on the menu.

Absolutely fantastic cottage which was even more charming than I'd imagined. The attention to detail was wonderful and there was always something new to spot around the cottage, be it an interesting old picture or a vintage camera. Charm overload and great amenities - everything you need if you plan to cook there... or simply make some breakfast with a quality kettle and toaster!
Wouldn't hesitate to return.

Was there to hike in Blue Mountain and go to Megalong Lot 101 for dinner. Kubba Roonga was a great place to stay. The proprietors are exceedingly friendly and do a great job with providing a wonderfully slightly eccentric place to stay with plenty of room and great accommodations. I will definitely stay there again next time visiting the area.

There are some very lovely antique shops that you could spend hours at looking at everything and very nice and classy boutique nick nack, clothes and shoe shops in Blackheath. The cafes have yummy food. It's ok to visit for a day and then visit other parts of the Blue Mtns like Leura and Katoomba on other days. Blackheath is a good place to stay when visiting the private open gardens in Mt Wilson like Nooroo Gardens and the majestic Breenhold Gardens 30 minutes drive away in Spring and Autumn.

Blackheath was the perfect location as a base for exploring...
Blackheath was the perfect location as a base for exploring the Blue Mountains. From our accommodation, it was a very easy drive to surrounding lookouts such as Anvil Rock, Wind-eroded Rock and Hargraves Lookout, as well as a comfortable drive into the Megalong Valley to visit the Dryridge Winery. Katoomba is also within easy reach for day tripping and to explore and visit Echo Point, the Three Sisters and Skyworld.
As a small and quaint village, Blackheath has all that you would expect for a tourism-focused location. The butcher, the baker, cafes and pub (complete with the best Guiness Pie enjoyed by the fireplace and accompanied by Saturday afternoon Jazz), were all a delight to explore and experience, especially whilst the town was shrouded in cloud and mist, rendering sightseeing improbable for the day. We were especially delighted to purchase an inexpensive (last pair discount!) pair of hiking boots, in the specialty shoe shop.
Would highly recommend planning a stay in Blackheath - our 4 nights/5 days was the perfect length of time to accommodate the slower pace of rainy, cloud-enveloped days, along with more adventure-filled days of hiking and exploring, once the sun came out!

It’s our fourth time here.
It’s our fourth time here.
We loved Blackheath - best walks - Grand Canyon and Govet’s Leap
We also love Katoomba - many walks and lookouts
And Wentworth Falls is just a short drive or train trip to the East
So much choice, so much beauty.
Walks galore - so awe inspiring.
Peace and relaxation - perfect 4 days/3nights
Easy access by train.
But PLEASE take water with you on your walks, preferably with an electrolyte supplement. Australia can get hot, there are no taps along the walks (it’s a national park) and the walks are fairly long (3-4hrs). We saw a few people looking lightheaded and weary from dehydration - fortunately we had spare water to share.

Lovely town with lots of local stores and breathtaking views. I would say even better than Katoomba. Friendly locals. Nice walking through the town, everyone had beautiful gardens, you could tell they really make an effort to make them stunning. I recommend sunrise at Govetts Leap Lookout, hiking in Katoomba either using Scenic world facilities for less mobile visitors or challenge yourself for a long hike around a valley. We finished our afternoon/evening at Japanese Bath House (30 min away) which was great recovery after hiking. Next day morning we visited Botanical garden which was again so beautiful with no entrance fee.

Coming back to life.
Coming back to life. A few empty shops but still a fair bit to see. Coffee places are good.Close to other centre town.areas. I have planned a second trip back in the next month or so.
The Gold club was handy for very nice bistro food. Need a car to get around. Given I was here on a Friday and Saturday it wasn't too busy.

It's less trendy than other lower mountain destinations - less like Sydney - a greater variety of restaurants & coffee shops & book shop & antique centre
Lots of easy street walks and for the fitter many bush walks
More laid back and a quieter community
The most comfortable cottage with everything you might need. The views are spectacular as is the large property around it. Feels like being in a remote area however it is only 4-5 minutes drive to Blackheath shops and restaurants. The hosts are amazing and very welcoming, a lot of of thought has gone into the setup and supplying plenty of snacks, fruit and drinks makes it feel extra special. It also means less trips to the shops and more time exploring. Highly recommended, we will definitely be back.

The room was spacious and elegant with a very comfortable bed. We enjoyed being able to access Netflix on the large HD TV with very good wifi. The staff we met were very friendly and accommodating.
Communication via email and text was excellent with very clear instructions about self check-in.
The guesthouse is conveniently located within a short walking distance of the station, hotels and shops.
The location was perfect . Not overly crowded due to limited number of cottages. The indoor pool was great for kids and adults to enjoy. The kids even enjoyed the gaming room and the tennis court .The BBQ area was nice too and the out door covered place was a Jerry on the cake .The staff is great too .would highly recommend and will definitely come back again .
This is a fabulous pet friendly stay unit.
Comfortable!
Bedrooms, great
Comfortable lounge room
Good bathroom.
Just a simple kitchen, well equipped for coffee and toast. Don't plan on cooking a meal, enjoy to local restaurants.
The yard was fully fenced and nice to be in.
It's a great base for the mountains.
The Bed was really comfortable and we were fortunate to have a room away from the street noise/traffic. Compared to other rooms, our bathroom was passable. It's a good hotel for couples and those that are happy to keep to themselves and retreat to their rooms by 10pm.
Comfortable and well styled cottage with great kitchen, amenities, comfortable lounge and very effective heating. Venue is close to the town centre and access on arrival was seamless. Hosts provided excellent communication before and during stay.
Location was good being really close to Blackheath town centre and a brisk 10 mins drive to Katoomba which has more options for food and boutique stores.
In the room itself we did like the fireplace which heated up the room quite quick.
The location was good - relatively quiet and very easy to get into Blackheath village and onto the highway to get to other villages in the Blue Mountains. Lots of options for breakfast provided, including a delicious home-made muesli!
beautiful location - hosts and their dogs wonderfully welcoming - a great base for hiking the Blue Mountains and relaxing on the stunning property with breathtaking views of the Blue Mountains.
Perfect for a holiday where you want the hotel to feel like more than just a room. Very nice feel and extra offerings made it somewhere you could centre your trip around
