It had the indoor pool so my grandkids were able to use it still even with the colder weather. It was very close to McDonalds

Starting with the initial greeting by the welcome desk staff, this property was amazing. Beautiful, thoughtful details everywhere you look, from the curated local art to the various amenities. The room itself was stunning - high ceiling, distinctive lighting, unique decorative pieces. And again with the amenities - coffee/tea bar featuring a French press and a wine refrigerator. And the Pendleton robe in the bathroom! Every detail appears to have been given so much attention, resulting in a fabulous experience.

Good location for my needs. Especially liked the hair dryer, as it also had a night-light incorporated into it. Not much highway noise. Large room, clean.

Cute, comfortable and cozy. Unlike the usual generic hotel rooms. Great location and very walkable.

The facilities were clean. Loved the outdoor fire pits and free bikes. It was a great experience if you’re wondering whether you want to buy a camper van. At night the trees were lit with string lights so it gave a fairy like appearance to the place. One of the perks we got was passes for free wine tastings at different wineries (which can be vety expensive).

Well appointed historical home in the heart of downtown Carlton. Owner has left thoughtful touches throughout to make yours and your pet’s stay as comfortable as possible. Lovely shaded, fenced backyard for relaxing with family, friends and pouches.

Small town near wine tasting area. It has a downtown area with restaurants and some wine tasting. We happened to be there during the UFO Fest. We had good people watching seats at an outdoor wine shop. The town is close enough for a day trip to the coast, which we did. There isn't much to do besides eat, drink, and wine taste. Was relaxing though.

McMinnville is a small town that has lots of comforts of a city. It has excellent wineries and tasting rooms, distilleries and breweries. It has excellent restaurants with exceptional service. Lodging options range from cozy to top notch. Outdoorsy? Lots of hiking options. Shopper? Great boutiques downtown.
Our favorite spots: Crescent Cafe for breakfast. Humble Spirit for farm-to-table offerings. Bierly Brewing for fresh baked goods in the morning (sourdough, bagels, donuts - all that happen to be gluten-free) and beer and yummy heart warming soup in the afternoon/evening.
We choose to wine taste at R Stuart (downtown McMinnville) - specializes in bubbly, so we had a bubbly flight. Saturday we chose Laurel Ridge Winery and Patricia Green Cellars (Carlton). Sunday was spirits at Ransom Spirits (Sheridan) and Cooper Mountain Vineyard (organic and biodynamic in Beaverton). Highly recommend all businesses.

Nice little artsy town with lots of attractions and good location for things in the surrounding area. Parking is a little hard to find, but not impossible and once you get parked, it is hassle free. I will visit there again.

During our visit we went to six wineries and had some very nice wine. Our favorite restaurant was the Goldon Valley Brewery restaurant which had great food and wine. We went to the Aviation and Space Museum which was very close to the hotel. Great place to visit for both adults and kids. For our next visit we will try to plan our trip better in terms of driving. Wineries are not close together so we spend lots of time trying to navigate unfamiliar roads.
If you want a great winery tasting experience visit J.L. Kiff. The views are amazing and the owners make it a great experience.

I needed transportation to an appointment for oral surgery, but no taxis were available. Rather than let me be late, the manager/desk clerk Sanjay closed the office and drove me to my appointment. I’ll never forget Sanjays kindness.

Visiting an out of town guest from Kansas.
Visiting an out of town guest from Kansas. We had a great time in the antique shops in Lafayette and Aurora. I have been here before as was in the UFO parade 15 years ago winning best group. We dined at the Hotel Oregon and the garden burgers and tots were super!
We loved the charming decor of our one bedroom flat on the second floor of the building. It was easy to pick up the keys at the hotel nearby. We found the apartment very relaxing with room to spread out a bit and with a kitchen to use. Coffee and tea were provided and we could walk all over McMinnville to shop and eat.
If you're in town for medical stuff (there are lots of medical buildings within walking distance), this is a great location. I didn't try to breakfast so can't comment there, but the hotel was clean, the workout room small but fine for some cardio (no weights). If you're just passing through, it's a good place to stop.
The hotel was clean, staff very friendly, beds comfortable, lots of pillows which my wife liked. Most of all it was very quiet. We stayed on the third floor, the hotel was fully booked for an event, we didn't hear any noise in our room. We would stay here again next time we are in the area.
The house had old world farmhouse charm with family photos, Victorian furniture, and little touches throughout. It was in a good centralized location just a 10 minute Uber from downtown McMinnville. It was very relaxing being on farmland rather than a congested more heavily populated area.
What a lovely and well appointed retreat nestled in a wooded and peaceful setting 5 miles outside of McMinninville’s downtown. A spacious getaway after hiking or wine tasting. We felt welcome and comfortable and this would also be a great property for a family or couples trip.
Loved the classic architecture. Felt at home.
Central to downtown McMinnville.
Should have stayed two days to explore more.
Will return again for a longer stay.
Had a fabulous dinner of tapas at La Rambla and will do that again.
Everything was spectacular. One of the best hotels overall that I have stayed in. I travel a lot around the world and every aspect and detail of the Atticus was throughout and wonderful.
Hotel had a great atmosphere. Wonderful food and drink policy in terms of being able to take it anywhere on the premises. Hotel was super clean and staff was very friendly.
The gentleman at the front desk went above and beyond. When I arrived at the hotel he had already placed my FedEx package in my room which was a huge benefit.
