It's not often you get to stay in a one-month old hotel, but this one is brand new (late September-early October 2022). It is hidden away on a side street in a small forgettable village, which keeps it quiet at night. It's all new and absolutely spotless, and includes a nice spa and wonderful sauna and two hot tubs on the ground floor, and access across a lawn to a 7-pool swimming and hot spring water resort (which is not new and is shared with an adjacent camp ground). Rates include dinner, and the wine list is quite reasonable and includes some wines made in the same and in the next village. Both dinner and buffet breakfast were good if not quite gourmet. Staff was very pleasant and helpful, all bilingual in Hungarian and German. (Don't know about English because I speak both Hungarian and German, never tried English).

The air-conditioned Hotel Nationalpark is located in Illmitz in the heart of the Neusiedlersee-Seewinkel National Park and offers an outdoor pool, a spa area, free WiFi, a garden with barbecue... Location is spot on. Close to Vienna and in the middle of the wine region. Cleanness is really top. Restaurant serves very tasty food and has an excellent choice of regional wines. Staff at the reception was very helpful. We used their suggestions on our short tour of the region. Beauty farm complete and very well appointed. We enjoyed it very much. We plan to go back soon.

Located in Apetlon in Burgenland’s Seewinkel region, Residenz Velich features a sauna and an infrared cabin. It offers free WiFi and bike hire is available on site. Spotlessly clean, welcoming hosts, beautiful location, comfortable rooms. We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed the restaurant very much, as well. We would love to go back.

Vila Vita Pannonia is a 200-hectare nature resort set amidst the impressive landscape of Lake Neusiedl National Park in Burgenland. Very nice place with a huge territory and a lot of entertainment activities. Very good option for families with kids.
