The location was excellent, close to the main center, we even saw the Olympic Flame pass right in front of our apartment!! The Casa Pizza next door was also very friendly and the Boston Pizza was exceptional. Thank you, Benjamin.

The location is brilliant, walking distance to castle, shops, restaurants etc. The breakfast was fantastic, all homemade and the owner Lucile, couldn’t have been more helpful. The room looked out onto the castle and was just lovely and full of character. We were travelling on motorbikes and were even able to use a garage for off road parking which was great.

We loved the stay and the host. Nice, stylish and cozy room with a shared kitchen (very good equipped!) and comfortable bed. We also ordered a breakfast option and it was very nice! Thanks for a warm stay!

The city center is very nice.
The city center is very nice. I's organized with care and love. We didn't have time to visit the fortress but it looked very impressive from outside. The city park is very beautiful, nice and calm. A nice place for a walk.PavelSweden - 10Scored 10
Beautiful historic city.
Beautiful historic city. We were just passing through, but discovered a really picturesque town to which we would gladly return. Off season for us, so the castle only had restricted opening hours, but the walk around the outside was more than adequate. Plenty of free parking around town.

Lots of fantastic views and old stone buildings. A well signed posted walking route covers all the places of interest in an easy way. Still worth visiting in depths of winter. Fougeres is a medium sized historic town with an incredible medaeval castle, lovely architecture and good restaurants and shops. The location is also accessible to interesting towns and villages that are well worth exploring. My husband and myself stayed for three nights to break our onward journey and thought this was about the right length of time to spend there. We would definitely recommend it.

This hotel was extremely clean with a large superior bathroom. Bed was super comfortable. Excellent breakfast with a full array of options. No specific parking, but close street parking with a short walk. Luggage can be dropped off in front of hotel. The proprietor is very welcoming and speaks English, and she made us a very delicious breakfast spread in the beautiful dining room. The shower has hot water with great pressure (perfect!) and the bed was very comfortable and we slept quite well - perfect after a long day of driving and sightseeing.

Like living in a country house 100 years ago. It with a very nice bathroom. For breakfast the owner serves milk, eggs, and other products from her family’s farm.
