Breakfast really lovely and served in a beautiful dining room. Good choice of cooked breakfast but for me the lovely plate of fruit served with yogurt and honey was my perfect start.
Loved the garden sitting there watching the dogs play and enjoying a cup of tea. Also appreciated the three lovely restaurants we were recommended and where we enjoyed our excellent evening meals.
Anna is a very special host who looked after us perfectly.

Burford is a medium sized Cotswolds town - pretty, lots of places to eat and drink, local independent shops and a good place as a base to explore the wider Cotswolds area. Burford Golf Club is very close, as is the Cotswolds Wildlife Park. Both recommended.

Burford is a great place to visit.
Burford is a great place to visit. The shops are individual and interesting and it is one of the best places for pubs with open fires in winter. It is a very attractive place with many interesting buildings. A short distance away is a wonderful garden centre. We ate one night at the Highway Inn where we were staying and the next night at the Lamb. Good meals in both.

Lovely friendly staff, they couldn’t do enough for us. Sarah sorted the rooms out. Ioan, big Jake, Ruth, Maisey and Grace were also extremely helpful in their allocated roles. Very cosy hotel stayed before only do so on our visits to Cheltenham races in the winter months.Easy to get into Cheltenham races through out short cuts across country!! Our room was extremely comfortable and very well appointed, clean with plenty of space. The breakfast was exceptional. The location was perfect as a base to explore the Cotswolds with Peter providing us with local maps for local walks. Short walk to Burford with free parking and easy access to lots of lovely surrounding villages and towns. Therefore an excellent base for exploring the cotswolds. The property is clean and welcoming and had a lovely surprise welcome hamper on arrival, with all the essentials and a few added treats too! The property had all the basics, was extremely comfortable and had fantastic views. Can’t wait to visit again!

The property is beyond charming, and is in walking distance to High Street in Burford with its many shops and restaurants/pubs. Our room was well-appointed with beautiful views and the most comfortable bed we slept in while in England. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful, and as if it couldn't get any better, the owner's adorable dogs stole our hearts.
